"The hotel common areas and restaurant are stunning. The free shuttle to the airport is also wonderful. The food was delicious and the service was lovely. We found it Extremely difficult to get a taxi to or from the hotel, however. Just to travel 10 minutes to Ostia Antica, we were charged €30. The return was also a challenge and was another €25 after much confusion over how to locate us at the only train station in town.
The room itself was functional. But there are almost no electrical outlets. A couple of USB ports were on one side of the bed, but no plug. And no plugs at all on the other side. Could not plug in a CPAP machine. Devices had to be charged in the bathroom.
Overall, I would stay here again but would want to book a better room. And I would plan to arrive late without making plans to tour the area. "
"Check in was easy. Didn’t need reception for anything else. We had room 401, lift up to 3rd floor then two flights of stairs but manageable. Room was small but enough room for two people, bathroom was really big with decent shower. Nice comfy double bed. Added bonus was a small veranda over looking gardens below. Great location, Spanish steps and Trevi fountain within a 10 minute walk. Overall a great place to stay at a great price. "
