I loved this hotel so much! I did not want to leave. I actually felt very down the day we checked out. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels but never had such impeccable care. It was above and beyond. Every staff member was at our service. The view and location were amazing. It was a very quiet retreat to return to and within walking distance of everything. The hotel is located in too on a hill right next to the castle of San Jorge, a 10 minutes walk to the city center, not very far from the airport. I highly recommend anyone to stay there.
My family and I stayed at the apartment and absolutely loved it! It was a bit of a hike the first time getting there but once your are familiar, it was so easy! How many times can you say you’ve stayed within the walls of a castle :)
this hotel was perfect in every way , excellent location very clean and modern rooms in a 300 year old building . our room looked over a very busy street with a view of the famous arch . the street lined with restaurants was noisy with the window open but once closed we could not hear anything . very nice breakfast and the front desk people were very helpful and freindly . will stay here next visit
I loved the unique theme and feel to this hotel. It’s a one minute walk to the metro and the famous tram line; however, the area it’s located in isn’t the safest. Every day we encountered people on drugs outside (but they were harmless in our case and we had no issues). Just some strange characters. But the hotel itself is fabulous and they offer unique extras and a copious breakfast! As a woman I would only stay in this area with a male partner and suggest coming back a little before 10pm....
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location is amazing and centrally located to so many restaurants, shopping and public transportation. Will definitely stay here again!

Excellent hotel, very clean and new. Very good sound isolation so rooms are quiet. Good Windows too that do a great job blocking out some of the plane flyovers and vehicle flowcan occur in the neighborhood. Very good location, right in front of the Metro stop. On top of it all the breakfast is very good.
I loved the hotel, simple with comfy bed. The location is great, across the street is a hub for all the tours, downtown is less than a mile walk down nice street with expensive stores. The downtown is 20 min by walk, nice and quiet. There is a little market where you can get water , there is a refrigerator. Shopping mall 10 min walk on one street. If you are looking for a comfy bed, this is the place, taxi to airport at 3am 18 euro, regular time 10-15 euro, 15 -20 min ride
The hotel desk staff made our stay exceptional. They directed us to great lunch and dinner spots that were off the beaten path. They helped us with bus, taxi, and sightseeing arrangements and ensured we had a wonderful experience. The hotel is older, but has great ambiance. No request was too much. I will certainly recommend to others!
I loved my stay, everything was perfect. If you want quiet might not be the place for you as it’s right next to a fire department, you hear lots of alarms, I didn’t mind it at all although some might.
