Hotels in Plumpton

I didn’t arrive at the Hotel until after 3am and checked out early, so wasn’t really there long enough to really rate the Hotel properly. I slept through breakfast so missed that. But definitely want to give a big shout out to the fellow on the Reception. Once I got up to my room for whatever reason my combination lock on my suitcase would not unlock and I was getting quite upset as I couldn’t open it. I called the Hotel and the same fellow at Reception came straight up to help me. He managed to...

Excellent place to stop for the night. It's close to some shopping, and only 15-20 minutes from the Melbourne airport. The room was clean, cool, and comfortable, and they offered complimentary access to the full gym and pool which is located right next to the hotel. The hotels.com ad said breakfast was included in the rate. When I went to check out, the desk attendant told me that it is never included in the rate, but that they would honor the hotels.com ad. They held true to their word, and...

Bed was super comfy and made gor a relaxing night pre-travel.

Great location, comfortable room, no complaints

I enjoyed my stay staff were very helpful , room was clean, bed very comfortable, I was only there one night but everything seemed right and would stay there again.

Very helpful staff & excellent restaurant.

Our stay was transitional as we had an early flight the next morning and wanted to be close to the airport. We were offered an early check in which was great. Staff were friendly and offered suggestions on local area. The unit was perfect. Very clean and spacious. We would be interested in a longer term stay next time we are in Melbourne.

Super comfortable bed, spacious room everything was spotless.

Shuttle and service fine

Very clean

As a person in a wheelchair, I appreciated the simple layout of the rooms. Easy place to store my chair (I'm always looking for the place of the outlets) and pretty simple desk chairs to use. The beds are always too high for me so I always need to boost myself with the desk chairs. Some hotels go over the top with their desk chairs making it hard to climb into bed. But this was pretty straight forward.

Perfect location for getting around the city. Breakfast amazing and the service was top notch. We will stay again when we are in Melbourne so happy we found this little gem.

We arrived at 4:30pm and the lady, Renee, at reception told us that we had enough time to make it to the complimentary wine tasting at Shadowfax. It was 5 minute walk. We completed check-in and walked quickly over to the wine tasting. We expected them to turn us down or act like they didn’t want to serve us. The gentleman who led the wine tasting was so accommodating and didn’t treat us like we were running in last second. For that, we did buy a bottle when we probably wouldn’t have otherwise....

We are a retired American couple. We stayed at the Howie for 2 days. The location is excellent. It is literally about 50 ft from some of the most famous "lanes" in Melbourne. The ground floor has a cafe which was very busy each day. There are countless eateries on the streets surrounding the hotel. There is a coin operated washer & dryer availabe, which worked great (the front desk will make change for you). The staff was very friendly & helpful. We would definitely stay there again.
