"The Mercure Zentrum offers spacious, well-kept, comfortable lodging jn what could just be the best lkocation in town. It's close to everything (including two S-Bahn stations) and the highly competent staff is friendly and helpful (There's also a really great bakery/restaurant juist across the street, as well as an in-house breakfast buffet.) Parking is available but I did not need it. Great place to stay in Schoneberg."

"My favorite place to stay in Berlin. Located one block from the Wittenberg-Platz U-Bahn station, so getting around the city is fairly easy. The rooms face the courtyard, so there is hardly any street noise. There are a number of restaurants and eating places in the area, and the hotel has a restaurant specializing in cuisine from the Caucasus region."

Rooms are a good size, compared to other tiny rooms in mid-range hotels we stayed in Germany. About a 10-minute walk to the UBahn and buses. Safe neighborhood. Several moderately priced restaurants on the block. Room does not have anything to make a cup of coffee or tea."

One stop to Bahnhof Zoologisher Garten, for fast trains to and from the airport. Nearby two bus stops for routes taking you to all the main tourist attractions, namely bus routes 100 and M29. Bus 100 will also take you to the hotel from Zool. Garten, and the stop to get out is Bayreuther Strasse. Hotel is in a cul de sac, so relatively quiet. Room 201 was...
