Outstanding service and perfect location for your pilgrimage to the Holy Land. It's located across from the New Gate and a short 10 min walk to the Holy Sepulcher. The staff was wonderful and the restaurants offered a terrific menu as well as an amazing view of Jerusalem.
From a spiritual standpoint, we were able to attend mass everyday at the chapel and it was a perfect way to reflect on our day.
my 4th trip to Jerusalem since 2013. First time I stayed at other than King David. Loved Herbert Samuel (HS). Great staff, nice new rooms, good breakfast. All you need. HS is new and in the center of everything and much nicer rooms than King David. Also an easy walk to Old City. I recommend this hotel to friends - I will stay here again.
The hotel is so close to the Damascus Gate it made walking in and out of the old city really easy. We got to the hotel after midnight and they were there waiting for us. The free breakfast in the morning was fantastic and we were off for the day. We needed to check out late and move rooms and they were very happy to give us the big room so we could all get ready for the airport after a day of touring.
I spent 5 days at the Inbal and it was wonderful. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The staff is wonderful and the service is superb. The food was delicious and elegantly served (best omelet maker at breakfast in all of Israel). Most of all the ambiance is warm and the staff is caring. This hotel is across the street from the famous King David Hotel, located close to the old city and a few minutes walk from Ben Yehuda Street shopping. This is a real deal. Geared for the Christian tourist.Great location right as you come in the Yaffa gate. and great rates. Not the fancy schmancy type but it does the job. Lots of middle eastern salads offered for breakfast. Staff makes omlettes for the guests. There is a 24/7 coffee maker by the front. I felt safe due to the location.
We stayed two weeks in a room with a kitchenette over looking the square. WE LOVED IT!. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom clean and they serviced the room every day even on Sabbath and a holiday. This little hotel is just a couple blocks away from the train. I really appreciate staff’s hospitality. I booked the room without breakfast. But they provided me complimentary breakfast considering my long flight from Japan and tiredness. In addition, my check in time was from 2 pm. But they also provided early check in. Thanks to their heartfelt hospitality, my stay was really good:) I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. A true gem in in the Old City. Spent four days at this the St. George's Cathedral Pilgrim Guesthouse and would have completed my stay in Jerusalem here if I hadn't booked a non-refundable night at another hotel. This hotel is in a perfect location to walk to the old city. There is a shopping mall nearby and several eateries. Parking is also near via Safra Square. We would recommend and plan to return.
The only flaw after a fantastic stay was not being backed up with a major problem with a driver hired thru the Three Arches to take me to the airport. The driver Jerry didn't want to honor the quoted price of $100. He wanted $350. as he had to wait, but arrived before time. The hotel called that he forgot a bag so he had to go back for it.
