"Clean well-maintained affordable hotel with very friendly staff. I lost my glasses, and the staff immediately took upon themselves to offer to call places, where I might have lost them, and then proceeded to offer a solution by pointing out where I could easily get replacement glasses cheaply. Whilst not a luxury property, it was clean, wellmaintained and offered a lounge area for informal meetings and good breakfast services and a bar."

The restaurant and bar areas were great places for our group of 18 to eat and gather for conversation. Our room was adequate but small. However, it was very quiet. The hotel was a short walk to the metro. We were there during Oktoberfest. I am sure the room pricing reflected that.
As an experienced traveler, I've become very picky about the places I stay and felt the K&K Hotel was perfect. The hotel was clean, well maintained, and was very comfortable. At first the location seemed pretty quite distant from the ‘Old City’, however you couldn't ask for a better location. The hotel is within a five minute walk to the U-Bahn (6th train) which can get you to key areas of the city very quickly (Not even 10 minutes to the Marinplatz). Nice staff, clean room and great location to where it was easy to access the grocery store and the subway. I love there was a washer and dryer in the room.
We stayed with our adult children at the Hotel Obermaier during Octoberfest. It was all that we had hoped for. It is a traditional hotel with a good restaurant attached. It is convenient by Metro to downtown Munich. It is much more reasonably priced than closer-in hotels. Our room and bathroom were comfortable. The breakfast was unbelievably generous and delicious. We will definitely stay at the Hotel Obermaier if we are fortunate enough to return to Munich, particularly during Octoberfest.
Best hotel, conveniently located for the Oktoberfest. I’ve stayed there the last 2 years for Oktoberfest and it’s the only hotel I’ll stay at in Munich! I will definitely be back!
Staff helped me with directions and bus tickets. Bedding and room space/windows great. Got lattes downstairs in the morning for a fair price. Super close to S station and for the energetic, walkable to old town
Super-convenient location to Oktoberfest and Hauptbahnhof, but tucked away by the river, far enough away from the beaten path downtown. Room had a homelike feel, with a small kitchenette & sofa plus (nice touch) 2 local beers per day in the fridge. Good breakfast & restaurants in walking distance. The sauna really helped kick a travel cold too.
Breakfast was excellent. Spa has limited hours. Staff were very helpful. Could’ve done a little better with bed pillows, toiletry options and air conditioner.
Great location and close to public transit to Munich. Having a parking garage under the hotel is a plus. The Italian restaurant across the street was pretty good too.
This was our first stop on our 2.5 week European Honeymoon. We spent two nights here and we wanted to stay longer. We wanted to stay longer simply due to the staff. These people are amazing. They remember your names, they remember what you want to drink, they will book tours for you, recommend places to eat and places to go.

Great hotel, rooms so nice. Roof top bar was great and view was unbelievable. Service outstanding, didn’t hesitate to hold our bags or accommodate early check-in for tired travelers. We are a family with 3 kids and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Very walkable area.
The hotel was in Old Town Munich. Excellent restaurants steps away. The breakfast was amazing. Loved the bedding and how clean the room was. Absolutely a great choice to stay.
