Excellent hotel in a great central location. The room was comfortable, clean and well decorated .... bigger than most Paris hotels, nice modern bathroom and very comfy bed. I booked a room that said double bed and I thought it would be small for my sister and I to share but it turned out to be a very comfortable king bed. Right across from the Invalides and a short walk to the Eiffel Tower, the Seine, and the RER station. The area had many great choices for cafes and restaurants. Only downside...

I have stayed at this hotel many times, first starting in 1970, when it was known as the Hotel Astrid.
The people who work there are very kind and helpful, and the hotel retains a charm missing in larger hotel chains.
The hotel was in a great, convenient location with easy access to bus and subway transportation across the street.
Breakfast was simple - meat, cheese, pastries, breads, hardboiled eggs, fruit, yogurt - but great start to the morning.
Front desk people were helpful with transportation questions.
Across the street from Porte de Champerret on Metro 3 line. Easy transfer from CDG airport via rail. Morning breakfast buffet was simple but tastey. There are several nearby restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

I traveled to Paris a lot, Maybe 3 to 4 times a year, and normally I try to stay at different hotels in different areas of Paris to really get a feel for the city, but I may have found my favorite hotel. Close to a lot shops, not too many tourists, walking distance to the Eiffel. Great staff! Especially, Mialy! It is comforting to be greeted with a smile every time you return and she did a wonderful job treating us like family. I will definitely be back to this hotel.
My sister and I loves the hotel location, near the Champs Elysees with easy access to shopping, restaurants, sightseeing buses, and Arc de Triomphe that we love. The neighborhood itself is full of restaurants. It is also close to public transfortation and other major streets and parks.

If you're looking for a quaint Parisian hotel, nothing beats Josephine Hotel! The rooms are so classy and tidy, even had a rooftop terrace!!!!! Trust me, the pictures does not do this place any justice. The staff was amazing, went over and beyond the call of duty to meet our needs. This hotel is wonderfully decorated and very pleasant to stay in. The neighborhood was very lively and with many great restaurants nearby. Easy access to major metro lines and so quite central. The room got a great breeze in the evening, being up high, so even in the summer heat, I was quite comfortable. Most importantly, the hotel manager was able to help keep my bags after check out time, so I could explore Paris a little longer before heading to the airport - this flexibility was not expected...
