"what a beautiful and charming little hotel. everything was lovely and staying right in the centre of ikd town in a place built in the 16th century was superb. Agathe, the hostess attended to any needs, breakfast was perfect and the room was very large even by American standards. Parking is about 50 meters away in a very large underground public lot. The castle is maybe 150 meters away and the town center maybe 100 meters. Can't wait ti return to Angers and stay here again. "

"The property is centrally located within walking distance of main sites and restaurants but in a quiet and peaceful street. The host was very hospitable and the house is a historic bed & breakfast in a lovely well maintained house. Very homey and cozy decorations and our room was very comfortable and clean. Their was no a/c in the room but was Ok even in the warm weather in early June with opened windows."

"The entire team at Markus were fantastic, very supportive and accommodating to all needs. The Markus is centrally located, close to the train station and easy to get around. If our travels take us back through Angers we'll be looking to book here again."

"Really great find opposite the Chateaux, really central, Christophe told us where we could park the car for free which is a bonus. A great place to go is the indoor market down by the river, you can choose your cheese , breads and wine and have a great lunch there. Opposite the hotel over the river is a rooftop bar which amazing views. We will be going back Worth while having the breakfast for only 11euros "

"Good classic hotel right in the heart of Angers. Rooms are comfortable and there's good value for the money. We parked nearby for only €5 the whole night."

"The architectural details in the building are lovely. It was positioned well for walking to the heart of the city. We didn't like our room. We had stairs up to the bathroom , the view out into the yard was tatty, and we only had one stirring stick for our teas and coffees. "

"With the hotel still being renovated, the staff is very friendly, the room is very clean (but please repair the bathroom wall under the sink) and quiet (close to the road) due to the double, double windows (however, net curtains hinder opening the windows a bit). Location of hotel within walking distance of the station - really great! Breakfast is excellent, giving you a good start to your day!"

"This is a really nice place to stay. Located in a small village close to nature with a lovely riel overlooking the river. A nice change from my normal stays at the normal hotel chains. The host was really nice and service minded. "
