"I had a wonderful stay at the La Divine Comedie during my recent trip to Avignon. The staff was warm, accessible and accommodating. The grounds were beautiful and the room was absolutely spacious and lovely. The staff was able to arrange transportation and tour guides for me in advance of my arrival to Avignon. I would highly recommend this a stay at La Divine Comedie for anyone who plans on visiting Avignon. "

"One of the light bulb kept blinking and the staff was helpful to remove it (they didn't have spare light bulb for change). Location was in the centre, very convenient. There were supermarkets, cafes and restaurants on the streets. Can walk to most of the scenic spots from the hostel. Free continental breakfast: baguette, toasts, cheese/ham (sometimes only one of them), coffee and tea. "

"Patrick was the consummate host in this beautifully renovated monastery. All the sites and sweet streets are a short walk away. Free Parking is outside the walls of Avignon served by an easy free shuttle. The breakfast was delicious including homemade brioche. The room was very comfortable, large with a little kitchenette We would come back in a heartbeat."

"Jean Luc is a great host. Between my bad French and his pigeon English we just about got by, but with a lot of grace and good humour. The property is in a great location, just a few minutes walk from the stunning Palais de Pape in the old walled city. Try and book ahead and nab the downstairs courtyard room. That puts you in pole position for the little pool and breakfast area and saves you having to lug heavy suitcases up two flights of steps. There’s a carrefour store and a Boulangerie just...

"What a fantastic find! Newly renovated room that was very clean, comfortable and functional. The staff (who are also the owners) were incredibly helpful and friendly, taking the time to show us on the map the best walks in Avignon, their restaurant recommendations and shopping areas.
