Booked this hotel as it was quite affordable, central location, and a bit unique - service was amazing, check in was smooth and reception were friendly and helpful. The location was great - a bit awkward but once you get your bearings it's a short walk to either side of the city, with shops and restaurants either a 5-10 minute walk on the hotel side or 15-20 minutes across the bridge. The views from the hotel were stunning, it was so nice to be on the water with the parliament building lit at night visible from the deck. At check out, reception booked us an airport transfer and kept our bags until our departure so we could spend our last day walking around freely.
The room itself was nice but maybe not so modern, very charming. The bed was two small beds pushed together which was not the most comfortable or romantic setting with thin pillows and two small blankets, however we were so busy during the days that we didn't spend much time in the hotel anyways. The hotel bar was beautiful with great service, the restaurant was closed while we were there which was a shame but expected in the off season I suppose.
The only negative was the walls were VERY thin - we could hear our neighbors from all sides at all times, and there was noises all through the night. The shower had great pressure but no bathtub. Overall, would definitely stay here again, very affordable and charming!
