Very friendly and helpful staff, all staff members were very attentive and nothing appeared to be too much trouble. The selection of available drinks, especially real ales was extensive. Real ales in particular were very well kept and staff knowledge of them was extensive. All food was cooked individually and was very well presented and delivered personally. The accomodation was modern, clean and amenities were very well explained.

A lovely local place to stay with king size beds, air conditioning, mini fridge, morning coffee, fabulous showers, high ceilings, a great staff. All tucked away behind an outdoor area and a wonderful traditional English pub.

Very nice room with massive fan supplied to help with the current heat wave. Loved the Nespresso coffee machine and fridge in the room with a small selection of snacks and drinks. Pub itself is very nice which a fantastic cafe literally across the road. Will definitely be back!

Stayed in one of several bungalows in the grounds of the pub. It was clean, spacious, had lovely hot water and a plentiful hospitality tray. Huge comfortable bed.

We came to visit family who live nearby in the village, so it was very convenient to stay at the Red Lion. The apartment was great, the super-king-sized bed was very comfortable with lovely cotton sheets, and there was a great shower. Staff were very friendly and the apartment block is a short walk from the pub, so it is private and quiet. Would definitely stay again .

We stayed in a room in an annex at the rear of the pub, nice and quiet. The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. We had dinner at the pub and it was delicious. Staff were welcoming snd friendly. Would definitely stay here again

Really generous size rooms. Great location in the middle of the village but with the rooms set back from the road so nice and quiet. Great dog friendly pub with good food and selection of drinks

Stayed for 3 nights, the room was pleasant, warm and quiet, I didn't eat in the pub itself as I felt the atmosphere a little unwelcoming, however they do offer a good range of real ales!

Lovely stay

Lovely stay at the Red Lion comfortable accommodation with good facilities. The only downside was the room could do with a good dust throughout. We ate in the pub and both nights the food was fantastic 😋Service good and staff friendly.

Our stay was comfortable. The bed was roomy and clean. Tea/coffee was plentiful and plenty of storage. Staff helpful and polite and we would definitely stay there again. Only downside was our television kept losing signal (could have been due to atmospherics) which annoyed the hell out of hubby when he was trying to watch the footy!
