La habitación no contaba con calefacción adecuada para esta época, no había a quien solicitar ayuda y no tenia cortina o persiana en una de las ventanas, la luz entraba con todo desde temprano din dejar descansar y no teníamos privacidad. Jamás regresaría ni por una noche.

This property is in a good location. Only 15 minutes walk to the restaurant district and also the old town. We understand this is a guesthouse, not a hotel, but some basic extras would be REALLY helpful when you fly in from overseas - for example some basic plastic knives/forks/spoon. A reading lamp by the beds (3 beds but no lamps) would be helpful so that the ceiling lights could be left off when some want to sleep but others don't. Parking is difficult - EVERYBODY parks on the street. Be ready for it - it doesn't just apply to this guesthouse, its all over the city.

I stayed in a triple room. Overall it was confortable and the location was great, easy to walk around and very close to the BSI station which is incredibly useful if you are arriving with FlyBUS. Check in was relatively easy, although I found that the information for check in was sent a little late and could cause confusion with some travelers. The staff on site was very helpful. The property and rooms were clean but needed some maintenance in some parts.

Chambre correcte. Le ménage n’a pas été très fait correctement, les tasses étaient encore avec des traces de café, des bonbons sur la table de chevet et les draps étaient humides. Les instructions d’arrivées étaient claires et la localisation parfaite.

Host mixed up the reservation with someone else, resulting in me not having the code to enter for 30 minutes under the rain, followed by two guests showing up at my room on day 1 and day 2 + maintenance showing up also thinking I checked out even though I still had two more nights booked. Host was not helpful in resolving the issue, but agreed to cancel the remaining nights without penalty when asked by hotels.com. Coffee cups in the room were not clean. Curtain was missing loops and sagging. Chairs were stained. Window frame is broken and does not close tight. Shared bathroom was clean. Overall, quiet place, near downtown. The pictures of the room do not represent the very basic state of the room.

Great place for overnight stay. Clean, comfortable, good location, good WiFi. Check in was little complicated. We didn’t receive any communication from the owner before arrival, so have no access code to the property and our room number. Had to call on the spot. It was resolved quickly though.

The building itself is older which is fine but overall needs a makeover. The walls appeared dirty and the bathroom itself was hard to tell if the grout was just old or moldy. The water in the shower smelled strange and in turn made the building smell strange if multiple showers were taken at once. The bed was one of the most uncomfortable I have ever had. The parking is misleading and on the street. The hot tub was luke warm and didnt not appear clean.

Not quite what we expected but very clean place. We ended up on the top floor and the shared washroom to ourselves. The ad mentions parking on site but it’s really street parking and we had to park two blocks away so that was frustrating in the rain. Never heard back from the host when trying to message them. Beds were comfortable!

+ Sängar och sängkläder var bra Lätt att checka in med bra instruktion Fräscha toaletter och duschar. Bra geografiskt läge med gångavstånd till allt. Inget boende att hänga på, men det var en sovplats, inget mer. - Trasig sänglampa Trasig tändknapp på toaletten Saknas en gardin så att vi inte kunde få mörkt på natten (extra jobbigt eftersom solen aldrig går ner) Sliten trädgård med dåligt underhåll på det mesta. Badpoolen skulle vi inte våga bada i pga hygienen.

Location was great. Walkable to a lot of great restaurants and shopping in Reykjavík. Stayed here my last night as a budget place to stay, and felt very comfortable. No complaints, great as a solo traveler
