Great stay, the place was comfortable, secure, clean and we had a really fun time. The ‘H’ bus runs straight from Termini station (links to the airports) straight to the front door. The owners even WhatsApp’d a video of how to gain access to the apartment. The apartment itself is quiet, comfortable and very agreeable. It is just a nice room with a TV, coffee machine and everything you need. The bathroom is nice and well appointed. It’s everything you need for a day or three away. The area is fabulous, good tram and bus links to Rome, fabulous and affordable shops, cafes and even a garden centre nearby. We never saw the the owner, but communication was top notch and he was very helpful. The place was very affordable too, seriously, what’s not to love? Local restaurants were recommended by the owner, really authentic, great value and a great experience. The local tiramisu shop is a reason to visit in itself!!! Highly recommended, we had great fun and you will too.

We felt very comfortable at the Lighthouse Suites Trastevere, the accommodation provided a nice comfort. The location is also excellent, only a ten minute walk from the Stazione Trastevere and about a twenty minute walk across Ponte Garibaldi to the Pantheon. There are nice bistros in Piazza Ippolito Nievo. We can only recommend!

Perfect Location

Lighthouse Suites has a great location, lots of restaurants and cafes nearby, and very close to a tram and buses. It was an easy journey into the main part of Rome, and also to Vatican City. I liked being in a quiet neighborhood, but also loved the convenience of this location

We enjoyed almost everything about our stay. The hot water in the shower was hit or miss and that our room was by the common room, resulting in a lot of noise when other guests came and went. Otherwise, it was clean, quiet, safe and well cared for. The beds were comfortable, the price was great.

We loved our short stay here! Clean, good facilities and fantastic air conditioning. Walkable from Trastevere train station but also very walkable to the centre of Trastevere (it’s a small city, we found it all walkable!) Nice, hidden and quite away from the busy night life. We also found the local shops and cafes near by were very good and convenient! You do have to message via WhatsApp to check in, but Stefano responds quick and informative! We will be back if we need to do a short trip in Rome again and would recommend to others.

Rome getaway in January

Lighthouse Suites is in a great location for access to buses & trams. It's only a few stops from the train station taking you to Fiumicino Airport and is walking distance to all the restaurents in the old part of Trestevere. The accommodation was quiet, clean and warm with local cafes closeby. We had a minor problem with plumbing which was resolved right away so we would very much reccommend it.
