I can't comment on the upper floor rooms, but we were lodged in the basement, which probably shouldn't be used to lodge guests. The basements rooms are sparse, sticky floors, have no ventilation, and the windows can't really be opened since they are below grade and open into essentially open pits. We were all stuffed up when we left the next morning.
I'm guessing the upper floor rooms are better. So, if you stay here, we recommend confirming you're not in a basement room or find somewhere else if only the basement rooms are available.
