The room was as described. It was my first hostel experience, and I think they age-match because the people I was in the room with were all similar in age to me, which was nice and less awkward. I was travelling for work, but you can make international friends as well. If you're driving, they do have parking, but it is temporarily unavailable at the moment (November 2026).
I'm not that fussy, so the beds were decent, the room had a cooler temperature, which is good, the staff were really hospitable (they even organised this Halloween pub crawl), and the common areas were really nice (I was very impressed actually). The only thing is the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, and the drain seemed to be blocked.
If you're travelling for tourism, (and especially if you're solo), this is a good place to stay. It's in a good area, close to the station and town. If you really can't be bothered to walk, there's a bus stop literally in front of the hostel that takes you straight there, so it's a win win.
