Horrible hotel and reception staff-avoid at all cost.
I arrived late at night, at reception there were 2 boys in their 20's who knew just a few words in English. I had to change the room 3 times because they were all dirty, the 2nd room was the tip of the iceberg with pee and poo streaks! It was too late for a single female to wonder around a dodgy area to find another hotel, and I was exhausted so I had to settle for the 3rd room, whose fan was as noisy as a tractor trailer. The room conditions were unbearable so I found another hotel and left the next morning. I discussed the issue with a Turkish guy who blamed me for not finding another place if I didn't like the rooms-speaking of basic manners or customer service. He refused to take any responsibility for the filthy rooms, we had a nasty argument, and I asked for refund of the 2nd unused night. He refused to go to the bank because the refund amount wasn't worth the wait ?!, and he said he didn't care. He threatened me with the video footage pointing at the camera (complete non-sense), which showed nothing but just an argument, and kicked me out of the hotel. The guy was complete idiot to treat any visitor, let alone a foreign woman like that. Clearly he has zero manners, was interrupting me all the time, and was overall very arrogant.
Orbitz offers ZERO protection to customers against verbal abuse or refunds for appalling dirty rooms, so I'll have to fight for my refund though another channel.
