Not Satisfactory
The room was terrible. There was an overpowering smell of air freshener that permeated the room, including the bedding. During the middle of the night, a panel spontaneously fell off the wall startling us both (see photo). It exposed a void in the wall containing what appeared to be electrical connections that do not meet code. We told the desk clerk at checkout who appeared to be less than concerned about our experience. Given the recent fire on the island, I would think electrical connections like those in the photo would be corrected!
The shared bathroom was not very clean and extremely dated.
Given the significant fee for the night, we expected a MUCH better experience. We would likely not consider staying at the property again. I will say our friends stayed at the Eureka at the same expense and had a significantly better experience.
