Our stay was good, we enjoyed our stay, the beds were very comfortable and the location is great. The breakfast was very basic to what we expected for a Marriott brand hotel, handed in to us in a brown bag, which was a little odd as we were sitting at a table in the restaurant. We used the parking valet the hotel offers and it was very expensive (about 50$ plus tax!) but average price per what you can find around and in the East Coast in general, I think. What made us really angry about the valet parking:
- The valet guy at night offered us to park the car outside of the parking lot (in the street) for a smaller price (tip??) and he would offer his own car spot to us. We were considering it but suddenly he came over from somewhere and he had changed his mind completely, saying the police tends to fine cars in that street and that he'd strongly recommend paying for the valet parking.
- We agreed to that but said we would need to leave the car until 5pm the next day (checkout date) at no extra cost as we had read they allow it only until 1pm-2pm on the day of the checkout. He said that was done and no problem.
- The following day there was another guy at the door that wanted to charge us extra + tips if we wanted to get our car back at 5pm as we'd exceeded the time from 1-2pm. We explained what we had agreed the night before with the overnight guard and he was really rude and said: "OK, leave now. I'll charge you in your card anyway through the hotel" and moved away from us be
