The owner was so helpful with information on how to spend our time in the area. The property was well maintained. The floating bridge was cool to watch. Can't say enough good things about this place. Looking forward to staying again next year.

10/10 Exceptional

Very cute place and was immaculate. Inn was complete with all the little extras and the owner was very helpful. Just a suggestion, to include the unit number in the confirmation since it’s self checkin. Would definitely stay again. Close to a number of restaurants and activities

Nice place

Clean and comfortable. Suite had a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. Coffee packs provided but you might want to bring better coffee and filters. Nice have coffee on the balcony in the morning, or a drink in the evening. We'd stay again if visiting the area.
Martin, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The room was clean. Staff was helpful and communicative. Quiet area, at least during off season. The deck area was nice. Short walk to the lake front, about 15 minutes. Lots of dining options within walking distance. Could use a bigger tv for night time relaxation.

10/10 Exceptional

This was our first trip to Michigan City, and the Bridge Inn made it a wonderful visit. Pete (on-site manager) was extremely helpful throughout, and the cleaning staff was great as well. We stayed mid-week, so things were probably a little quieter than usual, but we loved the area -- so much to do within walking distance or a short drive. Kitchen was well-equipped, with a real freezer. My son loved watching the railroad bridge swing open and closed as we sat on the balcony. We are looking forward to next year's trip to Michigan City and the Bridge Inn!

8/10 Very good

Nice to stay close to beach and outlet mall

The room was very clean and comfortable. Decorated nicely. Was hoping to have a view of the water but only end unit 2 bedroom had a Chanel view. There’s some nice chairs on the deck looking out to the water and train bridge but are an extra fee to use. The manager is always around if you need anything. The walk to the beach is a bit too long if you have kids and beach gear. We enjoyed the bar/restaurant on the water on site. Overall was nice but pricey for the area. We’ve paid less for an oceanfront Florida suite.

4/10 Fair

Are you kidding me??

60’s era motel at $230 a night. So disappointed we left without staying even though we had paid for it in advance. Water view was non existent. Three small windows looked into garbage collection area.

2/10 Poor

Absolutely Horrible place

First trip to Michigan City and will be the last because of the stay here. Had to take our 6 week old puppy, unknowing that they are not pet friendly because they own the restaurant next door that boasts about being pet friendly. There are a lot of people with dogs on the property. Angie saw us with our puppy as we were leaving and told us it wasn’t pet friendly but it was fine because she was a puppy and didn’t do damage. When we got back home she texted me and charged me extra because of feces not cleaned up she said. The puppy never had an accident in the inn. So she is charging me for feces outside, where there is duck, and goose poop everywhere, along with the dogs from the restaurant. This place made our Michigan City experience horrible and it really makes me upset that the only money we spent in the city was at their hotel and restaurant. We will never be back. Absolutely horrible.

Quite acceptable

Basic 3 star hotel without front desk- definitely acceptable for its location & quiet
Alan, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Michigan City little gem

The Bridge in a cute complex of buildings. While you can indeed see the bridge from all 3 buildings, it is not exactly the water view you will be looking for, BUT the place is very convenient to Indiana Dunes, the staff was great at communications, the apartment was quite comfortable and equipped with coffee, tea and even hot chocolate! They even provided ear plugs, but the trains were not a problem so we never used them! Loved the Paya shampoo and lotion. While we enjoyed dinner elsewhere, I think the atmosphere alone would be reason enough to try the Bridges Cafe in the complex!

Great, picturesque location. Nice little amenities in the room. Very friendly, efficient staff.

10/10 Exceptional

Fun little spot full of personality. Cool outdoor bar and grill right nextdoor, and another donwn the street. On the way to the beach. The beach was about at 10-15 minute walk. Really cool little getaway.

Other than the train proximity and the terrible bed, your room was excellent. Shower was excellent. Room was extremely clean.

Great little hotel in an awesome low-key location on the river with a restaurant on site.

Quick Day Trip

Could not ask for more. For the price, the rooms were spacious. Hotel is located near shopping, restaurants, and of course the beach! Wont be disappointed!

We were here off season so pretty quiet but perfect for what we needed. Able to walk downtown to restaurants. Visited near by Indiana Dunes National and State Park.

Home style hotel

I would say this Bridge Inn is more like B&B style or maybe we stayed there off-season. The restaurant on site was closed and looked nobody there. The staff sent us a room code for entering our room. After we settled down in the room, everything felt like a home. Even in the very cold day, the room temperature was cover every corner. The owner of this property was thoughtful even providing 3M earbuds for us because the train were passing. Overall it's a nice stay.

Really cute, clean and quaint experience. They offered ear plugs for the near by train but they were not needed. Has everything you need for a pleasant stay.
