The family room overlooking the sea on the second floor was spacious, with comfortable beds and lots of little extras in the room to make us feel welcome. The Inn's accommodation is above a large and busy restaurant, which was cheery, not leery, and the breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

Dukes is a great location, right on the seafront. The room was very clean and tidy, the bathroom was looking a tad worn but it was fully functional and clean which is the main thing! We ate at the pub and food was as was breakfast in the morning too which varied selection.

An excellent experience in every way: warm welcome, pleasant room with sea view, dinner reservation at short notice, generous menu (dinner and breakfast) with quality ingredients and friendly service. Check-out arrangements were so easy and the car could remain on site for an extended time whilst we continued to enjoy our day in Sidmouth. The “help yourself “ sweetie bar was a generous touch and much appreciated.

Mehr Inn als Hotel. Leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen und renovierungsbedürftig. Eigentlich schade, denn das Zimmer wäre wirklich schön gewesen. Personal nett und zuvorkommend. Problem sind die Parkplätze: im Innenhof sind nur 5 oder 6 Parkplätze vorhanden und es gilt first come first serve. Für das Ein-und Ausladen durften wir unser Auto auf einen Parkplatz der Nachbarhäuser stellen, mussten dann aber einen öffentlichen Parkplatz ausweichen.

Enjoyable 2 night stay with my mother in a spacious twin room. Room fan provided to help with heatwave. Ample room refreshments and willingly replenished, Excellent breakfast. The mostly young staff were friendly, very helpful and professional. The downstairs interior was modern and comfortable with a lovely, airy seaside feel. Kept very clean inside and outside. Nothing remiss here. Would stay again. Long stay parking initially not easy to find in Sidmouth but we were lucky to get one of the few spaces at the side of the inn.

A busy, well run establishment that has a striving restaurant. Rooms rather quirky and very clean however, no A/C or even a fan so stuffy and hot even with windows fully opened. First morning in at 0502 the glass recycling was collected from the large industrial wheelie bins. I think they heard that in Torquay! The second morning they were late coming at 0710. Try during the standard working day on that one.

Excellent Hotel. Great staff and good parking onsite if available. The breakfast was really good and a reasonable price. Terrific place if you want to do the Coastal walk as the bus stop is just up the road and the walk brings you back past the hotel. Evening food was a reasonable price and good quality.

I have been a long standing visitor to Sidmouth for 25 years. I find the town of Sidmouth relaxing and very friendly.
