Freundlicher, hilfsbereiter Empfang. Das Zimmer war groß und komfortabel. Großes Badezimmer. Man merkt das Bemühen des Managements, diesen historischen Gebäudekomplex zu erhalten und mit den Erwartungen an ein Hotel in Einklang zu bringen. Der Pool ist wunderschön! Die Nähe zum Bahnhof weniger. Das Essen war gut und preislich völlig in Ordnung. Der Service bemüht, aber offenbar angelernt. Wenn ein paar Renovierungsarbeiten (z. B. Teppich) vorgenommen und die Servicekräfte etwas besser angeleitet würden, wäre es ein Juwel!

Fatal .llegamos a ka casona..iy tubimos que subir el equipaje 2 pisos...( tenemos ya una edad)... el chico de recepción nis indico el camino i subio con las llaves!... el la habitacion nio habia nevera..i en el aseo faltaban las cosas bàsicas como jabon etc( tuve que bajar lis 2 pisos para pedirlo( no hay tlf.) El suelo de los pasillos i salas de acceso a la habitación estan revestidas de una especie de moqueta suelra i con grandes arrugas que provocan que tropieces...para subir cada tramo de escaleras debuamos buscar el interruptor de la luz, Los muebles asi como los sofas estaban sucios.

Nefasta!!.. nadie nis ayudo a subir las maletas segundo piso i sin ascensor.. .eso si! El sr. quenos recibió subió con las llaves! Las alfombras que ocupaban todas las salas i escaleras arrugadas ( por deformación i sucias) Tenuamos que encender la luz a cada tramo de escalera...los sillones i sofas sucios! Muebles con carcoma viejos i mal conservados! Llenos de polvo! Tuce qye volver a bajar los 2 pisos para pedir lo màs bàsico para el aseo..ya que carecia de todo! Por supuesyo que no vamos a volver!!

No se merece las cuatro estrellas que tiene. La recepción nunca está atendida, cuando llegamos no había ni gel ni champú en la habitación, tuvimos que pedirlo, en persona porque no tienes un teléfono para comunicarte con recepcion. Sin minibar ni caja fuerte, y solo dos perchas en el armario.El desayuno muy justito y te dan un sólo plato, como quieras otro tienes que pedirlo....en fin, que creo que se le ha caído alguna estrella.

Nice quiet country hotel, convenient for Santander

We had one night in the hotel in September. The reception and waiting staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, if slightly dated, but it was very good for the price. It had a pool, which was large and much warmer than it looked. We had half board, which was good value and the dinner was lovely, and house wine excellent. It is a peaceful location in a little village.

Hemos estado muy agusto. El servicio es excelente, son super amables. Se puede desayunar, comer y cenar en el propio alojamiento si se desea. Por el covid el buffet del desayuno es bajo pedido, te dan una hoja y marcas lo que quieres que te traigan. Se puede aparcar en el alojamiento o fuera gratis. La limpieza de la habitación podría ser mejor, nos encontramos un par de arañas con telaraña. La luz de nuestra habitación era muy tenue, estaban casi todas las bombillas de la lámpara central fundidas.

El hotel es muy bonito y con una buena ubicación respecto a la autovía, el personal muy amable en todo momento. La habitación grande y espaciosa, pero tenia un olor constante a sumidero y ni salía mucha cantidad de agua en la ducha. En cuanto a la limpieza bien, pero no muy a fondo la limpieza de los baños.

Perfect stop off before or after the ferry

This English country manor style hotel is beautifully appointed if in need of some modernisation in places. We chose half board and enjoyed an excellent meal with wine included. Be careful during wedding season as it seems to also be a party venue and it can be loud and late.

Merece una ovación en estos tiempos difíciles

Impresionante casón del S XIX con todas las comodidades del S XXI. De agradecer las medidas de seguridad en estos tiempos de covid, perfectas y lógicas! Limpio, acogedor, cómodo, personal amable y dispuesto a ayudar al 100%. Precio muy ajustado para esas instalaciones "palaciegas". Piscina estupenda con hamacas. Servicio de bar y comedor dentro del edificio y en terraza con sombrillas. Muy buen desayuno donde puedes elegir lo que quieras de una lista enorme al no. Poder instalarse buffet libre. Se respira paz y belleza. El entorno del parque natural, con multitud de rutas de senderismo, bicicleta, etc, espectacular. También un espectáculo para la vista el Palacio de Hornillos, la iglesia de San Jorge y los terrenos que colindan. Se puede pasear por bosque y por río. Y si quieres ciudad, a 20 kms está Torrelavega, segunda ciudad en tamaño de Cantabria, con excelente comercio y oferta gastronómica y cultural. Volveremos seguro! Gracias por todo

GRAN HOTEL, MEJORES PERSONAS

Hay un montón de cosas buenas que hacen del Casón de la Marquesa un lugar ideal para pasar unos días. El entorno es increíble, con unas valles verdes que da gusto mirar durante todo el día. El hotel es más que acogedor, con una piscina coqueta, habitaciones super espaciosas, un bar y restaurante muy agradables. De lujo. Pero es que aunque algo de esto no fuera tan fantástico como es, seguiría valiendo la pena pasar por ahí, porque el trato de todas y cada una de las personas que trabajan ahí es increíblemente familiar, cercano y, por supuesto, profesional. Todo lo que pueden hacer para mejorar tu estancia lo hacen, aunque no se lo pidas, y siempre sonriendo, resolviendo tus problemas y asesorándote en lo que necesites.
