Great stay! The hotel is within an easy drive from Heathrow, and was comfortable and friendly. Good food at a reasonable price and good beer. The room was neat and well furnished, and was exceptionally quiet at night. Good value for money, and we would stay there again. Highly recommended!

Stayed at this property so we would be close to Jane Auston house museum. What a wonderful find. The room was very clean and the staff were wonderful. Parking was available right next to and behind the hotel. We had dinner at the pub and it was very tasty. Breakfast was great too!

Room was comfortable and clean, no complaints at all. Service was friendly and helpful, I had booked breakfast and on checking out they noticed I hadn’t been down, so they immediately offered to make a bacon sandwich to take with me, really nice sandwich and great service

Overnight stay

Easy check in online prior to arrival. Was welcomed by friendly staff and were shown straight up to our room and advised on the evening meal options. Had dinner in the restaurant which was good, and a range of local beer was available. Room was very comfortable with usual drink options plus a coffee machine. Good options on the breakfast menu, which was delicious.

Very good

Very pleasant stay at this pub with rooms. Good food, very good decor, good selection of drinks. Comfortable room and efficient service. One minor (and by no means a not uncommon situation these days); would young bar staff PLEASE stop referring to me as “mate” I’m not your mate, I’m a customer. Might be ok if the barman was Australian, but trust me; it’s not friendly, it’s disrespectful!!
