The hotel is in the center of the old city. On the one hand, it is good that you are in an accessible place and within walking distance to many places in Hanoi. On the other hand, it is difficult to sleep with the noise, especially with the rooms facing the street with the balcony.
In addition, there is a noise problem between the rooms, you can hear loudly if there are noisy neighbors.
The rooms themselves are quite large, although there is no place to put a second suitcase. The beds are comfortable. And the shower has good pressure and hot water.
However, there is a bathtub, which on the one hand is good for those who want to take a bath, but for those who only take a shower and adults, it is difficult to get in and out of the tub and is even dangerous because there is nothing to lean on when entering or exiting the bathtub.
The staff is very nice, but most of them do not know English at a good level to respond to Western tourists, although they try to help. However, in a place like this, especially at the reception, a fluent English speaker is needed, since most tourists in the hotel speak English.
The 2 elevators are also good, but in one of the two elevators there is a dirty and musty carpet that is not beautiful and not suitable for a hotel.
In terms of breakfast
There is a sufficient variety in the dining room for breakfast
However, everything is at a low level, stale coffee, bland cakes, and if you ask for cappuccino or good morning coffee, it is an additional charge
