Unfortunately this place did not live up to my expectations. The owner was rude, aggressive and combative not to mention that the place is starting to fall apart and has plumbing issues. After one night I was forced to move to another room because the shower in my original room was leaking into the unit below.
Kemal said that he would have his assistant help me with the move but she simply opened the door and then walked away. It took nearly an hour out of my day to move everything since I had completely unpacked for a four-night stay.
The Wi-Fi is not secure and they block my VPN so it was not safe to use my laptop or even my cell phone if I tried to connect to the Wi-Fi
When I asked about the possibility of doing check out at 1:30 p.m. instead of the standard 11:30 a.m. check out time he told me I would have to pay $120 for a full night which makes no sense because most hotels have a nominal charge if you are checking out a couple of hours late.
He also ranted at me about giving me a big room since I was only 1 person. But when I made my reservation I purposely paid for a larger room so that I would have extra space and not be confined in a small hotel room
There is no secure luggage storage. He told me I could leave my backpack in the office but I've noticed that a lot of the time no one is around and it would be really easy for someone just to walk in and steal my backpack which contains everything for my 2-month trip to Europe.
Would not stay herr again.
