Next to the lake but the room was sub par, the facility crowded and hotel manager extremely rude. Would never be back.
-Room:
Our Superior Suites said 3 Queen, but the bed are Doubles, not queens (60x80 inch). We can tell instantly as we have queen beds at home.
The shower water pressure was very low. Water flow so slow that my wife gave up washing her hair.
-Facilities:
Hallway ceiling has a ongoing leak with a standing puddle of water on the stairs, hazardous but not taken care
Small pool is VERY crowded at 10AM and 3PM, so did not use
Beach front is small, but the water sports is well managed
Wifi not working, showed to the staff, was told to come to front desk, where it works
-Staff:
Front desk lady was courteous, she checked us in smoothly, with our Psychiatric Service Dog (PSD), an ADA recognized service dog. We showed her both PSD certificate and doctor's letter
When we took the dog for a walk (after 3.5 hours drive),Lake George Saturday firework started very loud. Our PSD was not trained for gun shots. He panicked. We quickly dragged him back to the room.
Next day 3PM, we got a call from hotel manager who yelled at us that she watched us and our dog on her video, she thought the dog was pulling hard, so it is not a service dog, despite we explained the fireworks. She also refused the distinction between PSD and ESA.
We tried to show her PSD is a category of ADA service dog, she just wanted to throw us out on labor day weekend, plus $250 pet fee!
