The staff was very, very friendly! It is an older hotel with older decor/fixtures, but our room was clean and everything was in order. My only complaint was the beds... awful.

Friendly staff, clean room, basic breakfast, no blow dryer, close to town and Baxter State Park, beds weren’t that comfortable but overall it was a nice stay.

The staff is very nice and helpful. The rooms have a great nostalgic feel and being surrounded by nature on their manicured grounds was wonderful, our dogs enjoyed the vast fields.

the hotel is convenient to I-95, staff is friendly. Room OK but bathroom in need of renovation. Breakfast substandard - bread, PB&J, packaged granola bars, juice, coffee. Period. No cereal, no fresh pastries, definitely no hot food. Granted they say it's just a continental breakfast but not even a box of cereal?

We had a wonderful stay at Gateway Inn in Medway, Maine. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it a great place to relax after a long day of traveling. The staff was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The location is convenient for exploring the Katahdin region and serves as an excellent stop for anyone traveling through the area. We especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the attention to detail that made our stay enjoyable. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and friendly place to stay in Medway, I would definitely recommend Gateway Inn. We would be happy to stay here again on our next visit!
