What an absolute wonderful bed and breakfast. We were able to stay in two different rooms that both had lakefront views. The staff were amazing and really helpful. Rooms were cleaned perfectly and the added bonus of a full breakfast every morning got us ready for the day. We loved it!!

Great place, great and friendly staff, nice porch and rockers. The breakfasts were fabulous. The only thing I was hesitant about was the shared bathroom situation, but as it turns out, there were never any conflicts. Many people coming and going at different times. Rooms are quite small, but you spend most of your time touring the island. Nice air conditioning.

A great choice for our 1-night getaway! Loved that our room had a private bathroom. Clean room, great air conditioning, very comfortable bed, and great breakfast! A few hot dishes and a great homemade egg casserole! Plenty of muffins, pastries, bread, and bagels in addition to fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, oatmeal, juices, and great hot coffee and tea options. Nice porch and chairs for morning coffee or evening snacks. The staff was amazing!! Stored our bags for a few hours the next day to rent bikes and ride around the island. Would definitely stay here again!

The two innkeepers and the two housekeepers were excellent. Good location, close to restaurants and stores but away from all the hustle and bustle. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Afternoon cookies and coffee were a wonderful treat. Only negative was the mattress. It was not the most comfortable I’ve slept on.

I stayed at the Pine Cottage for 2 nights in August and the staff was amazing. We inadvertently reserved a room with a small shared bath that did not meet our expectations and the manager went above and beyond to upgrade our room and resolve the issue so we had a private bath. (Note that there was no mention of a shared bath on hotels.com so be sure not to duplicate our mistake.) The beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast was terrific. We also liked the location, very convenient to several great restaurants and a block off the main drag for a quiet and relaxing stay.

We had a great stay at Pine Cottage. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we were staying during the Canadian wildfires. Pine Cottage had masks for us to use outside while the air was poor. We enjoyed playing many of the games each afternoon as we drank our tea and ate the delicious cookies. We would definitely go back!

Great, hearty breakfast with the yummiest cranberry orange muffins! Super close to bike rental. Had a room with shared bathroom and never saw another person plus bathroom was always clean! They also had 4:00 tea time with cookies and fruit available. Very affordable considering these extras. Would definitely book again.

Our stay here was excellent. The room was impeccable, (just one comment: we could have used more hooks in the room, or a closet or another dresser) the shared bathrooms were very clean and well stocked. The breakfast had quite a variety to chose from, was very fresh and flavorful! There was a tea time in the afternoon of giant freshly baked cookies and tea/coffee that really hit the spot. The staff was always available, cheery, knowledgeable, and down to earth. We loved our stay here and will stay here again nexr year!
