Good place to stay!

Zaandam is a great place to stay just a train stop away from central Amsterdam. We had the rail pass so was very easy to travel around from This location. Hotel was neat and provided very basic amenities. The area around was beautiful. The only thing that was a bit of issue was lack of any storage space or any place to even store our bags. We have to leave everything on the floor. Other than that the stay was good

I Continue To Stay At This Hotel

Another great stay at Easyhotel Zaandam. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Room was clean with lots of hot water in open shower. Nothing fancy about the room with just liquid soap dispenser, no hand towels and no closet or storage for luggage or clothes. But I still like it here and the ease of walking to shops, bars and restaurants. Train is only 4-5 minute walk. Its just a quiet, comfortable place with friendly people.

Friendly staff, worth the money!

Great service, reception always happy to help. They were friendly and the room was very clean. Although not the biggest most luxurious setting, it definitely surprised me with great views of Zaandam and private toilet. Hotel experience was overall good.

Definitely a no frills hotel, but location is great and the staff were friendly and helpful. A few minutes walk to Zaandam station, clean room, comfy bed, good shower. Basic needs, looks just like the photos. If you need a hair-dryer or iron just ask the front desk. Coffee machine in reception, but you have to pay (1.50Euro). However you are so close to the Zaandam high street, everything you need is there. Was a good budget hotel for my visit to Rotterdam and Amsterdam.

Repeat stay at EasyHotel Zaandam. Location is great with 3 block walk from station and crovery (Albert Heijn) across the street or across from the station. Other shopping across the street and the Dam is on a 4 minute walk, with plenty of restaurants and bars. Hotel rooms are clean, water is hot with good pressure and bed is comfortable. What the room lacks is storage space for luggage and wall hooks for clothing. Even a carry-on bag is a tough fit in a standard room. Rooms are on floors 9,10,11 but elevators are quick. Check-in and check-out are easy and fast. Will stay here again.

Another Great Stay at easyHotel Zaandam.

Another great stay at easyHotel Zaandam. Location so a few blocks from the train station with quick service to Amsterdam and also Schipol Airport. Albert Hein directly across from hotel for groceries and snacks. Staff is very accommodating and I received free early check-in again (thank you Yannick). Rooms a a little tight and not much room for luggage storage. Fine for solo traveler, but couple will face challenges get into suitcases. Water pressure was a little low in this room but plenty of hot water. WiFi worked fine with decent speed. Only issure (every time I stay there) is the limited options for hanging up clothes (no wall hooks) and no hand towel at the bathroom sink. Would recommend if you are traveling light and want to avoid the crowds in Amsterdam. Very nice central square with lots of food and drink choices.

Easyhotel Zaandam is exactly what it says it is: a budget hotel that only features the basics but you also don't pay for anything you don't need. The room is just a bed, bathroom, mirror, a chair and very minimal horizontal space to sort things (i.e. no desk). Bed was comfy, linens and room overall were very clean, walls are paper thin, however, so you WILL hear your neighbors, what they're saying, what they watch on T.V. and their salacious night time activities. Not that big of an issue for a single adult or couples but not recommended for families. Overall good for what you pay, and barely more expensive than a hostel in and around Amsterdam, so a good value.

Still My Go To Hotel In the Amsterdam Area

Another great weekend stay at easyHotel Zaandam. Super convenient, just 5 minutes from Zaandam Station and a short train ride to Central Station or the direct to Schiphol Airport. Shopping, coffee and grocery is just steps away. 10 minute walk and you're in the Dam for a wide selection of restaurants. Venture further and see the less touristy side of Zaandam, where there are 2-3 larger grocery stores and more restaurants and local shops. Walk along the canal or watch the boats pass thru the canal locks. After many stays in the Amsterdam area, I have made easyHotel Zaandam my go to hotel. The rooms are not spacious, there is a lack of space for a suitcase, and a closet with 4 hangers doesn't handle shirts/trousers/jacket very well. But it is clean with plenty of hot water and multiple security (key required) doors to get to your room. Front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. This trip, Aurora made sure I was well taken care of. Highly recommend for shorter trips or if you don't require much space. It's a comfortable space in a comfortable town. It just feels welcoming.
