This hotel was simply delightful. The grounds are immaculately kept, rooms were spacious, very comfortable and clean, with plenty of hot water. The historical park is a 20 minute walk away or a 5 minute cycle ride and bikes are available for rent from the hotel. The staff were all sweet and helpful. We especially loved the pool which was a good size and a great place to relax after sightseeing. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel limpio y bonito

Hotel limpio y lindo salvo por el baño que está abierto arriba por lo que se escucha absolutamente todo como si no hubiera paredes.No hay nada que hacer cuando oscurece, los alrededores carecen de iluminación y no hay donde cenar, solo un 7 eleven a una cuadra. Para conseguir un tuk tuk o cualquier otro transporte tenes que pedirle a la recepcionista que lo pida ya que no pasa ninguno por la zona.

L’hôtel est plutôt bien situé pour accéder facilement au parc historique de la vielle ville. La chambre est plutôt correcte et le confort aussi !! Sauf les serviettes de bains qui laisse clairement à désirer... Par contre le petit déjeuner, horrible !! Le pire que l’on ait fait pour l’instant, vous mangerez obligatoirement des fourmis puisqu elles sont dans tous les aliments mis à disposition sur le buffet !!!! (Voir photos) Peu de personne dans l’hôtel ce qui aurait pu être un avantage mais ils nous ont tous places l un à côté de l autre au lieu de profiter de la grandeur de l’hôtel... En arrivant dans la chambre vous découvrirez une notice de casse... et oui si vous cassez un verre ou perdez une petite cuillère cela se paye... Bref prenez plutôt les autres hôtels de la rue !

Bel endroit à Suthokhai

Un excellent hôtel,petite structure,piscine agréable,staff tres à l'écoute,bref un très bon endroit où séjourner pour visiter Suthokhai,car très bien situé. Accès au parc historique moins de 10 mn à pied, ou location de vélo à l'hôtel.(100 bth pour 2 velo/jour)

La chambre était jolie , fonctionnelle, avec une vue superbe . Il est très bien situé côté restauration . Nous avons loué des vélos à la réception et nous avons visité le parc historique à vélo , un pur régal . L hôtel propose également un transfert pour l Aeroport .

Ideal location visiting Sukhothai historic park

Decided to stay here after reading the excellent Trip Advisor reviews and wasn’t disappointed. Ideally located if you are visiting the historic Sukhothai park (roughly 10mins by bicycle to central zone, 20-25mins walking). Our room, bathroom, breakfast area and gardens were kept sparkling clean by the staff throughout our stay.

 No restaurant within the hotel but there are many good restaurants nearby within a short walk/tuk-tuk ride. Cold drinks (beer, water, cola etc...) are available to buy in reception if you don’t want to walk to one of two nearby 7Eleven stores.

 Our room was equipped with a fridge and everyday bottled water was replenished (free of charge). Likewise the amenities in the bathroom (shampoo, shower gel, soap, toilet paper) were also replenished by the staff as needed. AirCon in the room was able to make the room comfortable on even the most hot and humid days. Bike hire (50Baht per day/per bike) was available from reception along with a lock/chain. Whilst the bikes aren’t the most modern there are enough to choose from for all shapes and sizes. Some bikes were equipped with dynamo lights although to be fair we were back most days just after dusk as we didn’t fancy cycling in the dark on Thai roads.

Prachtige plek, dichtbij de tempels gelegen. Lekker ontbijt en hele vriendelijke mensen! Geen moeite teveel. Leuke terrasjes bij de kamer, fijn zwembad. Enige minpunt zijn de verouderde en slecht onderhouden fietsen

Average motel, easy access to the historical park

We had an Ok experience at Scent of Sukhothai, but would not recommend a stay of more than 1-2 nights (which is enough to check out the nearby historical park). The up sides of the place were the nice pool and garden, as well as the option to rent bikes for the day to explore the area (although don't expect bikes that run very smoothly). Apart from that, there is breakfast of quite low quality provided, with no restaurant or other meals available. It is also not possible to organize any kind if transfer with them unless you arrive at the local airport (and taxis they can arrange to phitsanulok are about twice the price of going by meter). Overall to me this is a motel that would make more sense to stay at if you have your own vehicle/ arrange for your own transport. The rooms were clean and air conditioned, but quite noisy at night. Not sure from what since the area is relatively quiet, but it seemed like there were a lot of loud bangs coming from the ceiling. Wifi also generally didn't work in the evening and since the reception is not manned during that time there was nothing to do about it. However they could arrange for someone to wait for us and give us our room key as we arrived quite late.

Petit hôtel offrant un bon rapport qualité/prix .

Accueil déconcertant de l'employée/manager ( Nong je crois) demandant, à peine entrés dans l'établissement " Passeport", formalité debout, sans un verre ni même un mot d'accueil. Est devenue, ensuite, familière et impertinente Par contre la propriétaire, vue le lendemain, s'est montrée très aimable et de bon service. Petit hôtel relativement récent. Chambres assez spacieuses un peu spartiates mais fonctionnelles. Balcons équipés de table + chaises mais pas séparés entre chambres. Piscine sympa. Le tout très propre. Aucune restauration sur place.
