The staff was very friendly when we arrived later in the evening. We were only staying one night but was greeted with a very impressive breakfast with bread, meats, cheeses, among other things all prepared just for us. This is not your typical free breakfast. The hotel is also a short drive to the waterfalls, which was nice.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and was just right for the one night a friend and I stayed while touring around the Black Forest. Breakfast was nice and the table was already set for our room. Thankfully I had read reviews to know there were no fans in the room, so we brought two of our own.

Magnifique situation. Personnel tres accueillant et chaleureux. Prix raisonnable. Nombreuses possibilites d'activites aux alentours, notamment randonnee. Nous y avons mange la meilleure omelette de notre vie lors du petit dejeuner. Endroit tres calme au milieu de la nature, les vues sont magnifiques.

We were there in august , our opinion is positive . If you look forward to spending some days in the wonderful Black Forest nature, this is a good solution for you : the area is beatifull , 6 km away form the village of Hornberg , the Gasthof is nice , the breakfast is fresh and abundant , the restaurant is really good : we enjoyed several tipical dishes in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The owner and the workers are very kind . ...a place to visit again in the future.

Schöne Zwischenübernachtung auf der Durchreise
Hotel liegt etwas abgelegen, aber schöner Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen oder Fahrradtouren. Großes Zimmer, WLAN hat leider bei mir nicht funktioniert.
