A lovely stay with a very welcoming and attentive staff. The Riad is just 4 minute walk inside the Dukakis gates and the area is authentic and busy!! The Riad is an oasis in the Medina activity. Dinner on the terrace was lovely as were the breakfasts. Other restaurants are very close by as well. There are about 40 steps up to the terrace area though. Room was well appointed. Thanks for a great 3 day stay.

We had an excellent stay at this riad. The location is perfect—it’s situated in the Medina and very close to the Bab Doukala exit, just a quick two-minute walk, which made getting in and out extremely easy. It’s also near a great restaurant called La Famille Berbère. Despite being so well-located, the riad itself is tucked away, very private, and feels extremely safe. The surrounding area is also very safe. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and incredibly comfortable. The staff was exceptionally kind, attentive, and helpful, with someone available 24/7. They truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. When we mentioned that we were celebrating our birthdays, they surprised us with a wonderful cake. They also brought our breakfast to our room, which made for a very relaxing and comfortable experience. On the morning of our departure, since we were leaving very early, they thoughtfully prepared a breakfast to go for us. The level of care and accommodation was outstanding. I would absolutely recommend this riad and would definitely return to this particular one again.

Great stay at this cozy Riad. The breakfast is ok, but tea water on Termos that has contained coffee is a no-go for me. I loved the personal service, the mint-teas and the heather in our room (temperature below 5 degrees (Celsius) during the nights in December. Will definitely try to book them again, and recommend to friends.

We loved staying here. Adii and Mohammed welcome their guests wholeheartedly and are always available for guidance. Excellent location to exlpore the souk and easy walking distance to take a taxi if needed. Nice breakfast on rooftop terrace served by a sweet lady who always had a smile on her face. What seems like a 'hole in the wall' kind of place , becomes an oasis of comfort and beauty !! You are greeted by a very kind and friendly hotel manager Mohammad , who not only gives you all the info you might need to navigate a foreign culture, but also truly cares for you confort and we'll being . You are offered the traditional mint tea, a map to yours sorrounding and a friendship from the get go . The room is spacious and very comfortable and Mohammad and his staff will make sure you have whatever you might need. From a cold bottle of water , ice , tips of the best restaurants in town and best places to visit . ( Agafay camel ride, Les brains d'orient, market etc) Breakfast is amazing and the overall experience unforgettable!! No second thoughts , this is the place to go !!

Perfect Oasis

My mom and I enjoyed our stay tremendously at Riad Chayma! The riad is the perfect oasis from the bustling city outside. Breakfast on the rooftop can’t be beat and we also relaxed on the rooftop after dinner each night. The staff, including Mohammad, Azil, Nacer, and the 2 ladies who made our breakfasts made sure we were taken care off and gave us great advice on how to navigate Old Medina. The only challenge during our trip was finding the riad upon arrival. Google Map works but we not prepared for the subtle sign at the riad. Please note that the main street (before turning left onto 8 Derb Taabout) is a small and extremely busy street packed with many merchants, restaurants, motor bikes (no lanes) and pedestrians so not easy to navigate with luggage in tow. Nacer was nice enough to pick us up when we called for directions. Once you reach Riad Chayma, it will all be worth it! Thank you again to the professional staff who helped to make our stay perfect!

We absolutely loved this Riad for all the following reasons: 1. Staff were very welcoming from start to finish and accommodating; from preparing 'take away' breakfasts to printing off boarding passes needed for the return trip home at the airport. All at no extra cost. 2. Breakfast was similar each day but something new was added each time and delicious too! 🍳 Every thing was fresh and well prepared. Very filling too. 3. Our room was lovely, so were the other rooms we looked at. Lovely decor, spacious, very comfortable beds and cleaned every day with fresh towels etc. 4. The roof top terrace was a lovely retreat after sundown, as during the day it gets very hot in July but that said, there's a lovely shaded area to kick back and relax. On top of that there's an outdoor shower you can access to cool off. 5. The entrance to the Riad is a 5 minute straight walk, if that, from being dropped off at the entrance of the old city but never an issue day or night. Its 7-8 min walk to the central coach station, which you can easily access very cheaply to hit the beaches and escape the heat and hustle of the city or a 20 minute walk to the square, which is a sight and experience at night in particular! 6. The Riad could accommodate a family /party of friends of 13 if you choose, something I would consider doing the next time I visit Morroco as its 10/10 and quiet too. Beautiful place, beautiful experience and worth every penny!
