I liked the fact that the rooms had been revovated to a nice standard. Although small they had everything you needed. They were quiet & peaceful which is very important to me. Breakfast was included. The owners couldn’t do enough for you. We will be back. A great find in Bridgetown.

A perfect place to stay
This historic, family run hotel is located in a refurbished heritage building, formerly the railwayman's barracks. The venue is perfect for those who wish to be walking distance from the main street, and is even closer to the river which is suitable for walking and swimming. The owner, Jeff, takes pride in the hotel he established and is a friendly source of knowledge on the area and the best places to go (try the pub he recommends for dinner as well as the 'Cidery' especially for Friday happy hour). Otherwise, Bridgetown is a beautiful town - nestled amongst hills - on the banks of the Blackwood River. Farmland and bushland extends in every direction and it provides excellent access to Margaret River, Nannup, Bunbury, Manjimup, Boyup Brook and Donnybrook. A perfect place to visit in all seasons.

We enjoyed our stay. Hosts were friendly and gave us some great tips for things to do in the area including visiting Donnelly Mill where you could see and feed some kangaroos and emus. Bed very comfortable and breakfast very good.

Arived at the property early and room was clean and ready to go. Location wise it is an easy walk into town, as it was a Sunday most shops were closed but that didnt bother us. Returned to our accomodation and Jeff had organised everything for a BBQ we planned to have that evening. :) After a pleasant evening, slept like a log, location was quiet and bed was comfy. Next day we had a lovely breakfast and coffee. The host Jeff has done a great job renovating this property from its original condition. Would come back and stay again.

The best thing about this property were our delightful hosts, Danni and Geoff. So friendly, helpful and we were even treated to Geoff singing in the evening along with a group of fellow hotel guests. They have done an incredible job of converting the old railway barracks into beautiful room of an amazing standard. All done perfectly with even attention to detail and very respectfully with the buildings history. Danni’s little quirky touches to the communal areas were really sweet too. The location was also great. Just a 10 minute walk from the centre of town.

An excellently updated motel.
Friendly owner, clean and tidy rooms. Hard to believe that once it was a run-down motel-type accommodation for local workers. Now, thanks to excellent updating, a comfortable place to stay, just about within walking distance of Bridgetown main street!
