Do not trust this property
We arrived late in the evening, around 2330 local time with 3 children under 5 in tow. I had been in contact with the hotel several weeks prior to let them know about my arrival time, and I had been assured that there was no further action needed - I would be sent instructions 24 hours prior and that there was no need for anyone from the hotel staff to be there on arrival. On the day of travel and arrival, I received a message from hotels.com, which I mistakenly thought was from the property. Checking all my inboxes, spam and hotels.com inbox, I had no other messages. I had a message in addition from hotels.com saying that there was no need to call to reconfirm. On arrival, I checked the email for the code and instructions, but there was no code. There was simply a generic message. I called each and every number available to me for the hotel, with everything being diverted to the same voicemail. I left a message in French, but still several days later, no-one has contacted me from the hotel to even apologise or talk about what happened. Quite frankly, maybe I should have checked the specific contents of the email, but having received a seemingly relevant message and being explicitly told that I'd receive instructions in that time period, I trusted the property. Do not trust this property, otherwise you will be stranded outside with your three kids at midnight. Thanks to a hotels.com representative I was able to gain access to the room. When we got in, the room was fine.

Stay away
About 15-20 flies in the bathroom, two spiders in the bed, and no one to talk to (customers service not answering the phone and won’t call back).

It was very hot without air conditioning and very hot duvet covers.. Other than that, a great, secure stop off on the way to Disneyland

We arrived late at night and the access code worked well. Very spacious attic room for the five of us. Good stop driving to the Alps.

The absolute best.
This hotel was really one of the best that I have ever stayed in. Unmanned check in was easy, parking straight forward. Everything has been considered in the room. Lovely beds, beautiful towels and crispy sheets, huge shower, regal bath! Long pile carpet, electric velux blackout blinds - just perfect! We didn’t have breakfast but we saw the hampers left outside the doors of those who did.... they looked gorgeous. Thank you for a superb stay.

Despite my rating there are actually no staff present at this hotel but my room was immaculately clean and they did silently deliver a fantastic breakfast before I awoke. Highly recommended although be advised that the stairs to room 5 (in the attic) are steep.

Nice Room but Needs A Good Cleaning
We stayed for just one night. The room was large and comfortable and the bathroom was also large with a good shower. The room itself was fine, the problem was that most surfaces were covered by a heavy layer of dust. Not just a few specs but the kind you could write your name in. The carpet also needed a good cleaning, both for dust and crumbs from the previous patrons breakfast.. It was really a shame that such a nice property was so poorly cleaned. Breakfast was left at our door in a lovely basket and was a nice way to start our day. Only drawback was that it was supposed to be delivered by 7am and didn't arrive until near 8am. Fortunately we were not in a rush to leave but others were. Would like to rate this room better but the lack of cleanliness was a huge negative.

Very comfortable overnight stay
I stayed here with my husband and three of my children for one night. The room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The entry system with a code is easy to use and efficient. The breakfast was freshly prepared and enjoyed by all. Would definitely use again.

Well appointed renovated building. Close to freeway access & within a short walk to the golf course. Set in secure garden grounds in a quiet neighbourhood. Great surprise breakfast basket! Highly recommended.

We were met by the owner when we arrived, who was very pleasant and helpful. The accommodation was superbly appointed, very comfortable and in a quiet location, so we all had a great night’s sleep. The bathroom was fitted with a luxuriously deep bath and a separate, powerful shower. The towels were soft and fluffy. Great breakfast!

Excellent hotel.
Really prompt contact from hotel ahead of arrival. Late check-in was easy with pin codes and secure parking. The room was beautiful, designed with personal touches and immaculate. The room and en suite were massive- it had the feel of a studio apartment (eg a breakfast bar and sofas). Breakfast was fabulous - a basket of warm bread , pastries and jam delivered to the door. Would highly recommend. We stay in hotels about once per month: this was our most enjoyable stay for a couple of years!

A quick return visit
We enjoyed our first visit so much we visited again on our way back to England. A misunderstanding about the catering arrangements on a Sunday was unfortunate but this is a great little boutique hotel. Thoroughly recommended.

Lovely room
We went looking at WW1 memorials and experiences and this hotel is really nicely situated for this. We had suite 5 which is really spacious. Breakfast was delicious. Our baguette was still warm the first day. My only comment is that we were travelling with a 6'2 17 year old and they made up the single sofa bed for him. Luckily we figured out that the double sofa bed was made up even though put away. Great place to stay overall. Thank you.

Beautiful Room.
Refurbished to a high standard the room was comfortable & well equipped. Slightly quirky in that you never meet a member of staff. However the code entry systems worked perfectly and the delightful breakfast appeared outside the room at around 07.30 in a little basket. We went to the sister restaurant at the golf club for our evening meal. The food was good but service a little slow. Unfortunately we didn’t realise we had vouchers in our room for a free cocktail each until we got back to the hotel. Perhaps we’ll claim two when we return! Thoroughly recommended.

Oasis of comfort and relaxation on our road trip
While the process of checking in and out is fully automated, the care of the owners for the visitor's experience is clearly visible. From the very well equipped family suite interior, to the amenities, the well kept back garden, and most of all the lovely breakfast, we did not expect such an amazing stay in the middle of nowhere between Calais and Reims. Thumbs up.
