This is a basic hotel - but was good value for money. Other reviews mentioned the difficulty in communicating as the staff don't speak English, however our basic French, and their basic English was sufficient to get by. We were very pleased with the room, which was clean and comfortable, sufficiently spacious for our need, and had a balcony with pleasant views of the surrounding mountains. The town, Olot was perfect: a small, quiet, pleasant town with plenty of restaurants - away from the large towns leading towards it on the road from Spain - whereas the villages further along the road would have been too small as a base. Our one reservation would be the breakfast, which was limited - mostly bread, with two types of meat and cheese. Despite this, we would recommend this as a base for those exploring the mountains of Andorra.
