We absolutely LOVED our stay at this most unique boutique hotel. When would you ever have a chance to stay in an authentic historic Thai home?! Well, now you can! And with a beautiful bathroom, Nespresso, comfortable bed with cotton sheets (and the plushest feather pillows) the experience is not only unique but extremely comfortable. The meandering pathways, pots full of lily pads and small fish, birds singing, tropical foliage and palm fronds whispering in soft breezes, amazing swimming pool and delicious breakfast (and cocktails), you feel taken back in time to a slower, gentler world. We would recommend this amazing hotel to all our friends and family to experience. One further word and that is about the staff. Each member of the staff made us feel welcome and at home from our arrival to our departure. We had pleasant conversations, learned about the Lanna kingdom, people and culture, how the owner came to create this beautiful property, enjoyed a tour of extra spaces like the library (which was a delight to sit in and read the available books) and after five days wished we could have stayed longer. Upon departing to the airport we were planning to secure our own public transportation but they insisted on providing the hotel van for us; So considerate of them and convenient for us. It warmed our hearts to look back for one last glimpse and see all the staff waving us goodbye. If you’re in Chiang Mai, take a step back in time and stay at this “Lanna Village.”

Breathing Taking Stay

The staff were amazing and they made us feel at home!! It was my birthday and I was greet with fresh arrangement of flowers at our room and a touching card! This place was so unique and the ground’s stunning!! Peace and tranquility surrounded you in every inch of the grounds!!! The food was wonderful and staff very attentive, polite and welcoming!! Could not recommend this place enough!! Also quick walk to a temple and little town with an amazing bakery and of course a small 7-11 😊

마하비룸에 숙박한건 정말 정말 이번 치앙마이 여행에서 신의 한수였어요! 원베드 풀빌라 예약했구요~ 프라이빗 수영장에서 편하게 즐겼어요! 무엇보다 직원분들이 너무너무 친절했어요! 지배인님이 인사도 반갑게 해주시고, 체크인할때 숙소 이곳저곳을 안내해주시고! 바에서 칵테일 마실때 도와준 직원분이나, 조식 담당해 주신분, 체크아웃할때 도와주신분 모두모두 감동이었습니다. 조식은 정말 맛있었고 홈메이드쨈도 남김없이 먹었어요! 숙소도 너무너무 예뻣어요! 갤러리에서 하루 보낸것 같은 느낌이예요! 이전 호텔 3박 가격을 더한것보다 비쌋지만 후회없어요! 다음에 또 치앙마이 간다면 다시 꼭 가고싶어요! 비행기 소리가 들리긴 하지만 그것을 감안할 정도로 좋았어요! 하지만 해피아워 칵테일 이용할 때, 물이 필요하냐고 물어봐서 주셨는데, 나중에 보니 요금이 추가되었더라구요, 룸에 비치되어있는 물이랑 같았는데 비용이 부과된것에 조금 개선이 필요할것 같아요! 아니면 비용추가 여부를 안내하거나요~ 룸에는 물을 아낌없이 주셨거든요~ 하지만 제가 방문했었던 모든 풀빌라를 통틀어 가장 기억에 남아요! 모든 직원분들께 감사드립니다.

Small problems need to noticed

Nice villa with antiques and modern design. But the bed was wet and sticky after rain, it smelled so bad. (Suggest to put the dehumidifier) The villa upgraded us in the midnight, but the new-room is just near by street,so it’s pretty noisy with traffic.

Superb service, beautiful architecture

One of the most memorable stays we had in Asia. We were charmed by beautiful traditional architecture of the hotel and blooming tropical garden. The staff is highly professional and made all our dreams come true. Couples massage was unforgettable. Best ever romantic getaway !

Magnifique hôtel, le style incroyable, heureusement que nous avions réservé dans cet hôtel car chang mai n’est vraiment pas un endroit charmant, vraiment du tourisme de bas niveau, néanmoins je pense que l’hot Pourrait donner quelques bon tuyaux comme le musée contemporain de maiiam

If you ask for Thai style, this is the one !!!

It’s a beautiful Thai style hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Located in the outside of city but nothing really special to see around though. It’s closed to airport and easy for us to catch next day flight. If you wanna enjoy a typical Thai hotel , this is it !!!

Boutique 5 Star: Wish We Booked Longer

This is a unique property. The villas or Thai homes are well worth the see and stay. They are fully appointed. After a day of touring, an afternoon dip into a private pool is a top experience. The visual scenes are a blend of a zen garden, high end Bali resort and art gallery. Loved it. The management handled a delayed luggage and cooking class requests with excellence and focus. Spend at least 2 nights here, wish we booked for 4+.

一度の宿泊で十分

某雑誌の特集でみて宿泊しました。期待通りのおしゃれなホテルでしたが、室内はエアコンの調整が上手くいかず、浴室は湿度が高い状況。また、室内で大きなゴキブリは飛んでくるし、蚊もいました。ドライヤーは冷風のみで故障。ウエルカムフルーツは腐っている。空港が近いので飛行機の騒音はひどく、さらに、近隣？の音楽や鳥の鳴き声がうるさく、寝不足になりました。朝食はとても食べられたものではなく、残しました。空港までのタクシーを呼んでもらっていたのですが、時間遅れ、朝は急いで身支度したのに・・・。二度と利用しません。

Extraordinary, attentive service similar to A**n.

Quiet, peaceful oasis in a group of restored and very thoughtfully and comfortably restored antique Thai homes. Staff couldn't have been nicer. Close to airport but overflights didn't really bother us. Great spot to entertain and even better to come "home" to at the end of a day. We were so glad we chose to stay here!
