Be wary when booking this hotel. When we arrived there was no one to greet us, which lead to us waiting outside for 30 minutes until the door was opened ‘remotely’. Once inside, the place looks like it’s been built in a hurry and seemingly none of the corridor lights worked. In the room, we were not provided with any toilet paper so had to go foraging in a service cupboard to find some, nor did the safe work with it seemingly being locked shut. Upon questioning (over WhatsApp) we were told to not worry about it, but there was no where else for us to keep passports etc. not very comforting when the place has a dodgy feel to it from the outset... Furthermore, our so called ‘courtyard view’ consisted of literally a brick wall, meaning we got very little natural light into our room.
Whilst not happening to us, one of the other rooms’ door handle fell off during their stay, fortunately there was the one member of staff on hand (only in the morning) to fix this, but I fear had it happened any other time of day they would have been stranded.
Breakfast was a mishmash of seemingly whatever was on sale at the supermarket that week and served by an unenthusiastic host who spoke little to no English.
In short, don’t stay here unless you literally have no other choice!
