We did not enjoy our stay at Moxy Uptown. The room is absolutely tiny. There was about 1-2 feet of room around the bed, so you have to use the hooks on the wall or shove your luggage in a corner.
The walls are very thin, so our room came with a sound machine for sleeping. Also, the shower drips nonstop every two seconds into the metal drain under the showerhead after you shower, and it is super loud and echoes. Keep this in mind if you are staying with someone in the room and have to get up before them.
There is plenty of free, street parking, you just have to park on the other side of the block that you pull into. It seems like they want you to park across the street in the pay lot, but it is just as far away as the free, street parking.
We got two drink tokens and went down 30-minutes before bar close. They were short and told us they were done serving, even though the bar area was completely full of people drinking.
In the morning, I went downstairs to get coffee. There was none. After walking the dog, I came back 30 minutes later, there still was no coffee. After we went down to check out, there was finally coffee being brewed. We were not able to get any.
The staff was friendly, it just was not a professional hotel stay overall.
I would not stay here again.
