We stayed twice at this hotel, in two different rooms, and were very happy. The room we had the 2nd night was gorgeous--big windows to look out from, and a small terrace as well. Both rooms served as apartments where you could cook your own food, which can help out a lot in expensive Reykjavik. Of course, you may prefer to pay for the amazing restaurants right in the same few blocks. The only down side was the front door--it didn't always unlock with the code, but we always managed, so not a dealbreaker.
