Perfect Spot to Stay

We had a wonderful stay at Abel Tasman Lodge. Owners very helpful: giving suggestions on things to do, arranging tours/guides and offering restaurants. The facility is absolutely lovely with in each room and what is offered on the grounds.

We had a wonderful stay here and would absolutely recommend it. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the property is very comfortable with far more amenities than you’d expect for a small hotel. Everything is well run and thoughtfully organized. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the water taxis for exploring Abel Tasman National Park, which made our trips very easy. The only minor thing we noticed was that the kitchenette in our room was quite small with limited storage space. However, the large communal kitchen was fantastic and made cooking easy. Overall, a great place to stay and a perfect base for exploring the area.

Tina and family, and their amazing staff have truly thought of everything to make their guests’ stay perfect. Her recommendations for how to get the most from our time there were spot on. The cabins are fresh, bright, and comfortable. There is an option for breakfast with some of the best locally-made granola and homemade jam!! An all around perfect stay, at the doorstep to this jewel of a national park. We are so glad we found Abel Tasman Lodge. It has been the highlight of our time in Nee Zealand.

If I ran a guest house this is how i would run it. Tina has thought of everything from an everything you need to know pre arrival to every thing you could need whilst their. China crockery, fresh milk, a fab communal kitchen and Weber BBQ’s, instructions for everything. A lovely decking area to sit on.

Beautiful lodge at the entrance of Abel Tasman NP

I loved my stay at the lodge. It had everything I needed and more: a laundry, a spa, a well equipped kitchen, etc. While I was there for a week, I could have easily seen myself stay for another one. The owners are super friendly as well.
