Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist super. Die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man kann die Küche mitbenutzen und die Bar ist wirklich sehr schön Dort kann man sich als Gast den ganzen Tag aufhalten, auch wenn die Bar geschlossen ist. Große Weiterempfehlung

This is a good budget stay in a really nice location for the beach and flamingo pond. We had some issues with bugs in the room but it’s a swampy island so what can you expect. It’s a cute stay and the rooftop lounge area was a nice place to pass the time. I really liked being by the beach and stopping by the flamingo pond whenever we had a few extra minutes. The bar is cool and the people working there were friendly. They stored our luggage for us our last day. There are lots of close dining and bar options. We didn’t use the kitchen or see anyone else using it but it was pretty small, it wouldn’t have been easy to share. We never checked out the breakfast either but you can get breakfast for less at nearby restaurants. It was a good room with a good location, I’m happy with our stay overall!

Really good staff! Also, English is spoken. Room was small, but clean. Daily cleaning. I do suggest you pack a beach towel and a washcloth. No tv (fine by me. WiFi stays strong for the most part. Ac worked great!!

We were really disappointed on arrival to find the property isn't on the beach as stated in the hotels.com listing. Even the location pin on the listing shows it on the beach but that's the Bar not the hostal block. It is only one street back and to be honest was probably for the best as the beach bars were noisy with loud music. But if we had known it wasn't on the beach, we wouldn't have booked this hostal. The water didn't work at all on two mornings, including the day we were checking out which was really inconvenient as both times we had just returned from the sea and were soaking wet and covered with sand. The property offers a small kitchen with water which was useful and the rooftop terrace had good views. Our room was nice but felt basic and like it could do with some renovations.

Good value and experience.

Great place to stay for a couple nights. Had a little issue initially finding the location as it was around the corner of the main street, but had no issues once there. Had good service when required, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

The room was spotless, simple but lovely, and excellent location just around the corner to the beach, a short walk to dining and shops, and the flamingo pond practically in your back yard. There’s a wonderful rooftop patio and shared kitchen too! And the shower is excellent. Beto bar just around the corner on the beach is a special place as well. Couldn’t have asked for more, thank you!!

descent hotel close to the beach

The hotel is close to everything. You can walk to the beach, to different restaurants and shops. The room was descent, but I wish their electrical outlets were better. There was no breakfast in the morning though.

Lovely hostal on Isabella Island! I've stayed at 4 hostels in the islands and this one was by far my fav. Many lacked the social aspect, but here the owners have a lovely beach bar across the road where they hosted events (game nights, trivia, etc) which was great to meet other travellers. The rooms were spacious, shower was hot, rooftop area was nice. Only 1 item I disliked - 2 of the windows in my room were just screens at the top and couldn't be closed, so you could hear all the noise from people and cars going by. Still highly recommend!

Comfortable Isabella Reach Hostal

I really enjoyed my stay. Owner, Edith, was friendly and helpful. Room clean and everything (e.g. A/C, etc.) worked. The Bar by Beto in a beautiful beach front location. My room overlooked a pond with flamingos! I was pleasantly surprised how quiet the neighborhood was at night. I'd gladly return!

Room is spacious but it is the only good thing I can say about this hotel. It’s bare minimum, ac barely works, faucet didn’t give enough water. Owner wanted to charge $10 per day for beach towel per person. No shampoo provided just soap bars. They wanted to charge us half a day for late checkout. She was helpful calling a cab. Pictures poorly depicted actual place. If you need anything office is locked so you need to go across the street to the bar. No food at premises. Poor value. Cheaper places on the water. I would not recommend

Good for price

The check-in was confusing. There was no one at the hotel to check me in. The owner told me to go across the street, which was confusing to figure out where the office was. Staff was nice. The room was clean but a little outdated. Good atmosphere. It’s a room to shower and sleep with air conditioning.

The lady was nice and accommodating. The property is pay-upon-arrival. So bring cash! Walking from the port to the property is an easy 30min walk. The roads are dirt roads, so walking with heavy luggage isn’t ideal. Just pay a taxi to drive you if you don’t want to walk. The small strip of restaurants and stores are right next to this place.

This block around town had a sewage problem and the whole area smelled. It was apparently a city problem that stopped the pumping process. The property had a kitchen with fridge for guests to store and prepare food. Cleaning was ok-ish. Good for a couple of nights.

No tuve linda experiencia para ir en.familia ya que no habia ningun tv y tampoco wifi en las habitaciones y el.lugar a compartir que tenia loncerraban.temprano asique quedabas.aislado en una.habitacion sin nada,ni agua!!! No tiene relacion con el.precio.que pagas,las fotos y algunos.comentarios que leí no.tenian nada que ver con lo que experimente.

Lack of attention

When I arrived, the reception was closed and nobody was near by. I had to ask the bussiness in front of the hostal, they tell to me to go to a bar 100m from the hostal, after that, the owner is gentil. The toilet of room that was assigned to me was out of order, the air con didn't work properly, I complain about it next day, I was moved to another room, finaly it was ok
