How do you take a location with arguably the best view of the sea (main reason I booked location) and destroy the experience? Poor management and an absolute disconnect with the basic elements that guest coming to the greatest caribbean island would expect and deserve for the price they paid. The food quality was worse than a school cafeteria. It was poorly seasoned, overcooked or undercooked and food that's supposed to be hot, cold!!! No culinary quality. Tasteless!!! Staff was inattentive, barely accommodating to request with the exception of one or two. The male bartender at main dining room had no clean glasses stacked and was taking used empty glasses from the counter, barley washed to put my drink into. Hygienically unacceptable. My daughter's room was flooded and her belongings soaked. According to a maintenance person, this occurred when the air-conditioning malufunctioned. Still a head scratcher how that would cause her room to have puddles of water on the floor, dripping from the sealing and her bedding soaked. To the staff's credit, they did change her room. Thankfully we were out on excursions all day. ALL COMMENTS BY OTHER REVIEWERS ARE TRUE!!! The problem lay squarely in the owners and managers lap. Staff who are going above and beyond to welcome guests are sabotaged by the behavior of staff members who are rude and untrained. Maybe they should be elevated to managerial positions. Until these issues are resolved I would strongly recommend you book elsewwhere.
