Ich war mit dem Hozel zufrieden, das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit, trotz meiner schlechten englischen Kenntnisse. Das Gebäude ist sicherlich renovierungsbedürftig, hat aber seinen eigenen Charme. Ich komme gerne wieder

Det var fri och gott om parkering. Sängen var helt okej. Rum nr 5 hade dålig täckning på wifi, dålig mottagning på tv, toastol som inte spolade när den skulle. Frukosten var medioker. Stället ligger 1.8 km från centrum. Osäker på om jag kan rekomendera detta ställe.

No kitchen area, so no evening meals at all. Breakfast consisted of toast and cereal only. 2 people complaining on arrival, asking for their money back. Sadly, I won't be going back, never again !

Easy 30 minute walk to the train station. Lovely old building with comfortable rooms. The reception isnt manned until the evenings, we needed to drop our bags early and the breakfast chef was so helpful

Unfortunately we had to get there early as the contact number on the website is no longer use. Half the building was cold the pool was not open as being renovated the gym also not open or the sauna . The room was so small should have been a single . The 2 staff we saw was lovely and very kind . The place didn’t look ready for any guests . We ended up going home .

There was one member of staff the entire stay that was often hard to locate. The kitchen was broken, the WIFI was broken, the access to the gym and pool was locked, all downstairs bathrooms were out of order, the en-suite for our room had mould everywhere in the shower, the check in and check out process was appalling and I wanted to dispute the payment of the room due to the standard provided but was unable to do so due to there being no staff so was charged full price automatically to the card I booked the room with. Would not stay again.

Our worst experience of a B&B! We were in the highest room in the property. On an extremely hot day with just a single desk fan! The building is very impressive from the front and does have a lot of its original features. But in general the whole place was in need of some serious TLC! Didn’t really see a lot of the staff, but when we did there was absolutely no eye contact or polite conversation. Our room was in need of a good vac and dusting. Should think the dust behind the bathroom door was a years worth of! And lots of mould in the shower area! And a shower that was barely warm. The noise of the macerator was something to behold. The breakfast was a ‘basic’ continental. All laid out on a fairly small table. The table cloth on our table was dirty with what we assumed was yoghurt. Chose a different table the second morning. It was all self service and if a member of staff entered it was to replenish items and back out quick, without even a ‘Good morning’. We were at a function not far away on the Saturday night. When we mentioned where we staying several local people were horrified as it had a bad reputation locally. Thankfully we had a torch to light our way up the stone steps in the dark as they was no outdoor lighting. So in a summary, book elsewhere! We would like a refund please.

Very comfortable. This hotel is set in a very old house with great architecture, so is not modern at all in many ways. However the staff are friendly, the rooms quirky and comfortable, and it has a pool. Breakfast is good, set in a lovely room.

Very run down. Booked with breakfast included. Was told on arrival they have no food available for any meal time. Gym was filthy. Shower was mouldy. Reception unattended on arrival. Had to look for staff member. When I left at 8:30 the reception was all locked up. No staff around. No receipt for stay. Have emailed but had no response. Travels a lot with work and this is the worst place I have stayed.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, but the hotel itself looks like it needs quite a lot of money spending on it to update it. The room was chilly (radiator needed bleeding) and water pressure in the shower was virtually non-existent.
