First hostel experience! I felt super safe travelling alone as a female. Coded entrance for elevators and individual rooms. Unlucky to have a loud snorer in the bunk below me but they provided ear plugs in advance. Bring a lock as they have lockers in the room for your belongings. The staff were great and very friendly. I’d booked a single room which was basic but clean. The first night was ok but the second noisy. The service was very courteous, a 3-minute walk from the train station, very convenient. I stayed at the Ostello in Florence and I don't know if it's an isolated case, but in Milan, the room wasn't that perfect clean. I think it's important to pull out the boxes to clean underneath sometimes too. The atmosphere and entertainment are there, it's great for socializing. My requests were well heard and taken into account. Very good staff.
