The whole Thuong Hai team was very welcoming and attentive and made our stay very pleasant. The room rate was wallet friendly and breakfast (different egg variations, pan cakes, bread, fresh fruit and coffee/tea) was included. The room was clean and spacious. Would book again 😊

Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Can book tours directly from the front desk and rent scooters. In the centre of town with lots of restaurant options around and close to the caves. Definitely would recommend if you're visiting Phong Nha!

Great service

The hotel is located nicely in the center of Phong Nha close to restaurants and a few shops. The owner, Mr. Giang, is a very friendly and nice person, and he showed us great flexibility and helped us a lot during our stay there. The rooms are spacious and light. The bathrooms are a bit worn down, but have the necessary facilities. Breakfast is simple but made fresh for you. We had a nice stay here thanks to the incredible hospitality of Mr. Giang and his team.

We booked 1 room but were given 2 rooms on arrival. We asked if it is a mistake or an upgrade without cost. They said there will be extra cost so we demand to give us the room we book and they switch us back to the original room we booked. The property is clean and in walkable distance (about 1000 ft) to the Phong Nha boat tour.

Bright spacious room in ideal location

We stayed three nights in a bright, spacious and comfortable room. We had a balcony with views over the village at the back. Very quiet. Linh, who works on reception went out of his way to make us very welcome and also gave us a 30% off voucher for entrance to the Phong Nna cave. We had breakfast on their 5th floor terrace which has fantastic views. It is just a shame that they didn't serve breakfast every morning there. They didn't have a kettle in the room although Linh was happy to give us a thermos flask of boiling water so we could make a cup of tea in the room every evening. We booked a tour through the hotel to the Paradise Cave and Dark (Mud) cave which was very enjoyable and good fun. The hotel also arranged a drop-off to the airport at Dong Hoi. Would recommend a stay here.

Uncomfortable stay!

Hotel Review I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. Our first room was in terrible condition—there was mold on the ceiling, and the entire room felt damp, even the bedsheets were moist. The air had a musty, earthy smell, which was quite unpleasant. Additionally, the room was dirty, with dust and cobwebs in the corners. In the bathroom, there was a hole in the wall and no hand soap provided. After complaining, we were given a new room the next day, but unfortunately, it was only slightly better. While still not ideal, at least it was an improvement. On the positive side, the staff was helpful in arranging a driver for us, which made it easier to explore the area. Their assistance in this regard was appreciated, but overall, the poor room conditions made our stay far from enjoyable. I would not recommend this hotel.

Hotel correcto, buenas habitaciones

El hotel está bien para su precio y categoría, buena cama, limpio, desayuno correcto. Buena relación calidad precio. La persona que nos atendió mostro buena disposición en un principio, hasta fue a buscarnos al autobús. La cosa cambió cuando le dijimos que no compraríamos ningún tour, que queríamos recorrer nosotros solos el parque. Demasiada presión para vender lo que ses: tours, billetes autobús, ... Eran las 10 de la noche llevábamos horas de viaje y no se debe presionar, solo queriamos cenar. De eso ni se preocupó. Me pareció gente muy poco profesional.

Good Location, clean new hotel.

We stayed at Thuong Hai a couple of times. The hotel was clean and modern. Wifi is good. There are lots of restaurants around and a lovely bakery. The boats to Phong Nha cave are a short walk away. Breakfast was cooked to order and when we had a 6:50am pickup they started the breakfast service half an hour early. The staff were keen to offer us tours but not pushy when we declined. The only negative was finding our room key left unattended on top of the counter at reception.

We arrived Phong Nha 4 am in the morning and was a bit nervous if the reception was open. It was and we got to check in early for the nice price of 100000 VND. Ended up staying here for 3 nights. The service was amazing!

Really helpful staff

Relatively cheap hotel in the center of Phong Nha. We had an open shower leaving the whole bathroom wet after each shower. We had a nice view of Phone Nha at our balcony. The breakfast only includes 1 dish and 1 beverage, which is okay if you consider the price per night. The owner of the hotel is really helpful and is the highlight of this hotel. He wants to help and does not wanna rip you off. We booked our trip to Paradise Cave 7km through him and got a very good price. The motorbike rental was also very cheap (70k Dong for a day).

Wunderbares Hotel mit sehr freundlichen Gastgebern

Sehr sauberes und schönes Hotel. Die Besitzer sind SEHR freundlich und zuvorkommend. Kann ich jedem empfehlen, der in dieser Gegend ein Hotel sucht. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Ein zusätzliches Plus ist die kleine aber charmante Bar auf dem Dach.
