This old property was updated very well. Modern look in a classic building. Located near activities around broadway (shops/restaurants). Staff was helpful and friendly.

Lovely hotel and friendly staff. Unfortunately on a Sunday the bar was not open and there is no elevator in the hotel.

Great location in the historic arts district close to great restaurants, stores, waterfront, and the national quilt museum. Parking was on the street. Room in the annex was clean but smelled very musty. Also, what seemed like a rooftop compressor was extremely loud when it ran above the room. Other than that, the historic renovation of this building was very impressive and the materials were top grade.

Excellent location within walking distance of all the delights Paducah has to offer. The staff are absolutely wonderful, as we're the townspeople! Our room was clean very nicely appointed, and comfortable. Our only room complaint was that it took maybe 5 minutes in the evening for running hot water to reach the shower. It's a great hotel in an old building, so this is a problem that can be forgiven. The room had a Keurig coffee maker, and in the morning there is sub-par drip coffee that is available from about 6:30 am. We definitely want to come back to Paducah and look forward to staying in The 1857 Hotel again!

Paducah KY is worth the stop and this hotel is perfectly located in the heart of downtown. Walking distance to the murals, the river, the performing arts center and a number of shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is a well maintained, historic property that has been fully renovated. Very comfortable and no complaints.
