We were 3 families staying at Caretta Beach Hotel and absolutely loved it. The hotel is just steps away from the beach, extremely well maintained and unbelievably clean. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed somewhere this spotless! Housekeeping did an excellent job. The location was also perfect, a great home base for day trips to Elafonisi Beach and Balos. The staff’s kindness really stood out throughout our visit. Adonis at the restaurant was so friendly and made us feel welcome every day. He was an absolute pleasure to talk to! Lea and Katerina at the restaurant always greeted us with a smile and Maria at the bar was so kind. The hotel manager, Yianni, was very helpful and gave us fantastic local tips that made exploring the area so much easier. Everything about our stay was perfect. We felt right at home. Avslappnande och bekvämt hotell

Jättefint hotell med härlig pool och en riktigt fin strand. Jag bodde här tillsammans med min tonåring som trivdes väldigt bra. Frukosten var enkel och helt okej, inget märkvärdigt men tillräckligt för att starta dagen. Personalens service var verkligen toppen – alla var otroligt trevliga och välkomnande, vilket gjorde vistelsen extra trevlig. Finns buss som går var 30:e minut för att ta sig till stan och var jätte enkelt att ta sig till hotell från flygplatsen. En liten sak att tänka på är utflykterna och aktiviteterna. Jag rekommenderar att inte boka dem direkt via hotellet eftersom det ofta blir dyrare än att boka själv via andra hemsidor eller utan transport. Det går dessutom bussar överallt som är mycket billigare och smidigare. Bortsett från det var allt annat med boendet perfekt, och jag kan absolut rekommendera detta hotell för en avslappnande och trevlig semester!

Perfekt!!! Ich kann die Unterkunft nur wärmst empfehlen. Wir kamen etwas zu spät an und wurden trotzdem herzlichst empfangen. Die Angestellten waren alle die ganze Zeit über total freundlich ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Unser Zimmer war groß, sauber und auch die Küchenecke war mit allem ausgestattet, was wir brauchten. Der Ausblick vom Balkon direkt zum Strand war einfach traumhaft! Das Frühstücksbuffet auf der Terrasse direkt zwischen Pool und Strand war jeden Morgen frisch und super lecker. Es gab jeden Tag eine große Auswahl herzhafter und süßer Speisen. Mit frischem Obst und Gemüse. Auch das Abendessen haben wir sehr genossen. Wir hatten einen Leihwagen schon vom Flughafen aus. Diesen konnten wir problemlos am Hotel parken. Mit dem Auto ist man vom Hotel aus „ruck zuck“ in Chania, in den Bergen oder beim nächsten Supermarkt. Wir wollen auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!!!

Lieblos und verbaut - keine Reise wert

Überteuerte Wohnungen 146€/Nacht nennt das Hotel Suite. Trist eingerichtete Zimmer mit minimalistischer Küche (über 30 Minuten bis das Wasser auf dem Herd kocht) und einem Bad für Zwerge. Viel zu klein: für Menschen über 175cm ist die Dusche unbrauchbar, zwei Personen passen nicht gleichzeitig in das Bad hinein. Der Balkon mit Meerblick entpuppt sich als Parterre-Balkon mit Blick auf den Personalein - und Ausgang und auf die öffentliche Toilette. Inklusive der dazugehörigen Gerüche. Es schauen andauernd Peronen in den gesamten Wohnbereich und die Klimaanlage sorgen zudem für Pfützen auf dem Balkon. Der Strand ist verschmutzt mit u.a. Zigarettenkippen. Generell wirkt alles lieblos und heruntergekommen - das Hauptgebäude und Pool sind noch dazu komplett verbaut. Das Hotel war die teuerste und zugleich schlechteste Unterkunft unserer Kreta-Rundreise.

Schönes Hotel mit idealer Strandnähe

Das Caretta Beach Hotel liegt ideal direkt am Strand. Die Zimmer bzw. die Apartments sind sehr groß und bestehen aus einer Küche, einem Wohnzimmer und einem Schlafzimmer. Die Ausstattung ist ein wenig veraltet, jedoch intakt und erfüllt seinen Zweck. Das Badezimmer ist in Ordnung, jedoch beim Verwenden der Dusche wird das Bad überflutet, da der Duschvorhang nicht bis zum Boden hin ausreicht. Im Ganzen ist es ein solides Hotel mit schönem Pool, sehr nettem und hilfsbereitem Personal und perfekter Strandlage.

Individuelles Strandhotel mit Charme

Wir waren im September dort und haben ein Studio bewohnt, was für 2 Personen ausreichend groß und sehr sauber war. Leider liegen diese im Erdgeschoss und der seitliche Meerblick ist etwas eingeschränk. Es gibt eine große, liebevoll bepflanzte Terasse, die sich verschiedene Studios teilen (z. T. abgetrennt), nur wenig überdacht (bei Regen ungünstig). Das Bad ist etwas eng und es mangelt an Ablagen. Es gibt nur 2 deutsche Fernsehsender, dafür funktioniert das WLAN in allen Bereichen sehr gut. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand, das Wasser ist sehr sauber, fällt aber nicht flach ab und es gibt immer etwas Strömung. Man kann für 4 € Liegen und Schirm mieten. Am Pool ist es gratis und Badetücher gibt es für 1€. Das Hotel liegt ruhig, Supermärkte und Tavernen gibt es in der Nähe und auch ohne Mietwagen ist der Ort zu Fuss erreichbar bzw. die Bushaltestelle ca. 10 min. entfernt, von da kommt man günstig und unkompliziert z.B. nach Chania. Man kann im Hotel frühstücken, zwischendurch gibt es Snacks und am Abend kocht Katarina traditionelle, leckere Gerichte oder man verpflegt sich selbst. Das Hotel wird familiär geführt, Thea und das Team versuchen, jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen, Danke an Thea und Katharina. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gern wieder. Zum Schluss bleibt zu sagen, wer keine All-Inklusive-Luxusanlage mit Animation braucht, sondern das Individuelle, Familiäre, Ursprüngliche und Besondere zum Abschalten sucht, ist hier bestens aufgehoben und wird sich wohlfühlen.

Bella struttura di medie/piccole dimensioni direttamente a mare. Grande spiaggia, bel mare e posto non affollato. Nell'appartamento mancava il condizione nel soggiorno/camera che risultava quindi molto caldo. Bellissima terrazza attrezzata con vista mare. Personale molto cortese e disponibile.
