Parking lot had so many potholes, I got out of my car to make sure I didn’t have a flat tire. The bed was hard as a rock (which I suppose was better than too soft). If I didn’t feel I couldn’t drive further that day to Abilene, I wouldn’t have stayed.

The wall AC unit is very loud. It drowned out any traffic noise. The room was very clean which was a huge plus. Lots of hot water for the shower.

Room was immaculate. Very comfortable room with a small fridge... larger than a dorm fridge. Room was very attactive and cheerful

Very small room, crowded, dark, dusty, old west style of the 1940s. It is not going to last in that condition.

Ice machine had 1/2 " of water in the bottom and a few ice cubes scattered around. Did not use. Not sure it was safe.

This was a property where you get a basic room that's clean and smells fresh, parking right outside your room, and a fair price. I stayed with my two children and everything was fine. Everything in the room worked as it should and I felt like I received value for the rate I booked.

So lets be frank, this is a classic old school motel built probably before most people reading this was even born. The outside may not the most eye appealing, but its ok. The lady at the desk was very nice. The doors have been updated to keyless entry. Inside the room I was impressed. Its a small room, but it does what a motel should do. Sleep, shower, leave. The room was very well kept and clean. The flooring looked new, and if not, it is maintained. There was absolutely no foul or bizarre smells inside the room. The rooms have an old school built in window unit for a/c. It took a few minutes, but it did get really chilled in the room. The bed was firm and I slept pretty good. I wasn't bothered by any outside noises. I was able to park right in front of my room. I that about motels b/c I travel with a lot of stuff that I have to unload and reload when leaving. I think the price was a little much for this place, but in the long run it was good stay.

There were little black ants crawling all over the bathroom walls and sink. I did not leave anything in there for them to get in to. Most likely looking for water as it was very hot. Otherwise bed was OK and AC was good.

I was a little uncomfortable when we drove up because it looked old but the room had been updated, was very clean and the management was very nice. Enjoyed our stay.
