2/10 Mediocre

As a lone female guest I was surprised when my room number was announced loudly within ear shot of mostly male customers at the bar during check in . The guy checking me in had no clue what to do . The room was very shabby , the blind fell apart when I lowered it . The room was clean but the air felt thick with food smells . The metal table next to my bed was extremely wobbly. No internal lock on the door . It certainly did not look like the photos on the website, very strange mix of furniture looked like it all had come out of a skip from an office clearance . I was very happy to leave in the morning.

A nice clean room which was fine for a one night stay prior to going to Manchester airport. I stayed on a hot day and so had the window opened and there was a lot of loud conversation coming from the beer garden including one person with a very irritating laugh. That said the beer garden closed about 10.30 so didn’t affect me getting to sleep

Selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the room. The room was clean and had everything that we needed. The location was ideal for where we needed to go and it was just a few minutes walk from the train station. The staff were lovely from the moment that we got there. They were so welcoming and friendly.
