The location is excellent, secure parking is available and the property is safe and quiet. The owner is good to deal with, responds quickly and efficiently. The property itself is well furnished, comfortable and good to stay in.

Brilliant location - very easy to walk to restaurants (some 3 mins away), bars, shops and the wine tram. The house is very well equipped with everything you need, and Jo and Gary are wonderful hosts providing lots of tips. The beds were super comfy, shower excellent pressure and the sofa was rather perfect for a post wine tram nap! The outlook from the front of the house overlooking the garden is beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Thank you!

One week stay playing golf and chilling out

Lovely location within very short walking distance of the centre of Franschhoek. Well appointed Cottage with all amenities and back up power available during loadshedding. Very spacious and a nice verandah outside. Jo was extremely friendly and looked after us very well.

Jo and Gary are wonderful hosts, their cottage a home away from home. A very peaceful spot, only minutes from the centre of Franschhoek by foot, and parking is provided. The cottage is beautiful, spacious, cosy (we were there in winter) and an easy space to live in. We've stayed in lots of the lovely cottages and guest houses on offer in Franschhoek, and Jonquil Cottage is of the highest standard, the warmest of welcomes and somewhere we will definitely be returning to. Thank you Jo & Gary

We really enjoyed our stay at Jonquil Cottage. We felt at home straight away finding it very clean and comfortable for our weeks stay. The pretty leafy garden is ideal to sit out in warm weather, providing plenty of shade. The cottage is in an ideal position at a very close walking distance to the main street in Franschhoek. We felt perfectly safe walking out both during the day and in the evening to eat. Jo was very helpful and went to great trouble to ensure that we were comfortable during our stay. Thank you again to Jo and Gary for sharing your property with us.
