Staff were very friendly and talkative. Breakfast was included in the stay and was very nice. Option of cold breakfast starting at 0730, with the hot breakfast menu becoming available at 0800. The room we had was cozy with a decent sized bed. Complimentary biscuits on the table, with the option of tea/coffee and hot chocolate. Clean bathroom.

The position of the hotel is ideal for train and bus services to the rest of the island. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a variety of options and was delicious. Lots of stairs but there is a lift. Our room was spacious a little dated but clean apart from the window which is opposite the Hovercraft landing so there is quite a lot of debris from the sand.

This hotel had a great location near the ferry and bus station. and welcoming staff. I had a single room, which was very small but adequate. It would’ve been nice to have a shelf by the sink or in the shower for toiletries. No place to put soap or shampoo. Something so simple would’ve made my stay so much better.

The check in was very easy. The room we were given was clean and tidy, maybe a little small. Had to use a fan as no air conditioning, but depite hot weather outside it was okay. Breakfast was good.

We hated our room from the moment we entered,told reception we wanted an upgrade,to be told we would have to wait till the morning,we were over 6 hours without a room,that we had paid for,didn't know where our luggage was so total crap place.

All staff are extremely helpful and courteous. The room was very clean and comfortable. Excellent location for the town, the bus and train station and hover craft, however the hovercraft is quite noisy if your room at the front of the building. Good food at all meals and the free cooked breakfast was a real bonus.

The Hotel is a Grade 2 listed building right on the seafront close the bus and train station, which goes back to the 1860's i think it has 70 rooms and I stayed in a twin room it was clean spacious some where to hang your clothes a toilet and shower and tea and coffee making facilitie The inly reason for the 4 stars is because the AC was lacking there was small fan which was ok but, had that of been a few weeks ago when it was really hot the room would have been a hot box, the breakfast consisted of cereals fresh fruit and you could order an English breakfast, there was toast jams and marmalade juices etc which was nice. The lady, Carla on the front desk that checked us in was very nice.

We booked a superior sea view room and it was lovely and spacious with comfy beds and good amenities. Completely let down by one of the worst full English breakfasts we’ve ever had. Dry, over-cooked and poor quality food. Would not return based on this.

I have been staying at this hotel every 2 years for the last 10 years and I have never been disappointed. The rooms are clean and functional and the beds very comfortable. I love sitting in the outoor area. The location is perfect, 10 mins walk from the ferry port and a short walk from the beach. There are many options for food nearby and also a Sainsbury 5 mins away. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel. The breakfast is excellent. I totally recommend this hotel and I look forward to my next stay!
